Wonderland Virgin Needs Some Help!!

Post by tartanlass »

Hello fellow Wonderlanders and Greetings from Scotland!! :D

I came across this game 'accidentally' and have just got the Return to Wonderland - this is probably the best game (and most frustrating! ) ever!

I do have a question though - I still class myself as a relative virgin with this game, and there are "majic mushrooms" - those red things that infuriatingly block stuff!! :x Anyway, I keep coming across wee messages that refer to 'getting the majic' - if it's possible to 'use' these mushrooms, how on earth do I do it?!?! :?

Or am I really a dumb blonde after all?

Please help me!!! :D [/b]

Hi Tartan, and welcome to Wonderland!

There's nothing you can do with the Mushrooms. They are stationary and don't move. The comments about "get the majic" probably refer to our own mega-level maker Majic who is a regular on this forum.

Don't get down on your blonde hair...at least you have hair (sorry Stinky, Loof, Qookie, and Peegue...and myself)

Hi Tartanlass,

Welcome to the forum, nice to see another Scot. :D

You will come across a lot of comments in the levels, we are great ones for having a laugh here. Don't take everything too literally, I suppose we never think of how others will view the wee notes.

Join in the fun, you'll have a great time.

Haste ye back! 8)

The actual word, "magic" is spelled with a "g"!! So if you see the word spelled maGic, it could be magic! But if you see it spelled maJic, it's not magic at all - it's just me!!!

If you feel like a complete ninny then you are well and truly a Wonderlander -- it goes with the territory. A word of caution though, it will slowly but surely suck ever more of your time.

By the way, I heard a news item the other day about haggus (?spelling) flavored potato chips. Do you know anything about this and where to find them?

Hi Steve,

They tried haggis flavoured crisps (chips) years ago, I'm afraid they weren't a success.

Have you ever eaten haggis?

Tartanlass, let us know if these crisps are back in vogue.

My friend Gordon is from Scotland, and periodically makes the trip back. When he returns here, he brings haggis with him. He makes it into haggis wontons (how's that for cross-cultural fertilization) for us faint of heart midwesterners. They are actually quite good.

Now I have heard everything! Haggis wontons. WOW!

The only time I eat haggis is Burn's night, nothing to beat it.

Haggis, neeps and champit tatties. Och aye!

P.S. My cousin Gordon emigrated to America years ago, I'd laugh if it was him!

I can't remember where he moved to Steve.

I'm sure there's a vast amount of Scottish 'Gordon's' in the US.

My cousin was from Glasgow, I wouldn't like to give his surname but,
(privacy and all that) he would be in his early fifties, light red hair was stockily built and had an older brother, John.

If any of this fits, send me a PM and I'll give you his surname.

This friend is probably, dark, forties and from Edinburgh!

It would be too good to be true. I don't have that sort of luck.
