New Level -- Stuck

Post by Muzozavr » Thu Jan 25, 2007 9:28 am

Nothing hidden, no magic, no glitches.
There are two possible layouts that would lead you to winning, but I think only one of them can be made out.
Although Stinky yells for help and that usually indicates Loof's presence, don't try to find him here, Stinky is really alone.

Enjoy!
EDIT: That simpler layout was indeed possible to make with a bit faster fingers. So, now there are two versions, the easy one with a loop, and the hard one fixed.
The easy one is called "Stuck".
The hard one is called "Truly Stuck".

Brilliant puzzle in a small room. Had to restart several times because I stood in the line of fire or a prims got shot too early

Lots of fun to work this out, thanks :D

I uploaded the hard version (easy version is with a loop which makes it easier) and I'm interested in someone to complete it.
Although there are no glitches or magic, there is a realtively new concept. I wouldn't call it a trick, but it's also very unexpected.

Mean little improvement

Finished it the same way as before - just had to collect one coin earlier :D

The same way? Means you found that interesting new concept. Brilliant job!
The loop included using two prisms separately -- but that also shoots upper boxes.

I haven't found any concept. Looped the second version too
I used the prisms seperately. For the first one I put a reflector above, so it wouldn't destroy an upper box. Didn't need to do that for the second prism, because you put the button under the upper box. But it should be possible to block the second prism with a reflector too.

Maybe you can PM me how it's intended to be played :D

Please PM me a screenshot of your exact layout for I can close the loop.

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about when you refer to a 'loop' but I finished both of these using the standard method of watch-out-for-cannon-fire-place-things-in-right-spot technique :D

Worked fine on both, thanks Muzo!

Speaking of avoiding fire, I'm still working on your space quest level

bob, if you used the prisms in two separate shots, you've looped the level.

I also used the prisms in two different shots:

First I used the reflectors to destroy the top boxes.
As a side-effect, one of the bottom boxes was also destroyed when it was caught in the blue gate.

Then I placed one prism on the blue button, pushed the remaining bottom box into the gate and used the prisms to destroy the prism.

Finally I pushed the other prism on the button, picked the coin and again destroyed the second prism.
