music bug in WA

Post by beck »

If you set the music to zero, the next time into the game it still plays. You have to click through the numbers to zero to turn it off again. I listen to my radio, so don't want the music. I haven't tested the sounds.

I turn my music off also but haven't had any problem like you described. Of course I've still only got the demo. Been busy.

Well, I take that back, I just tried to play the windowed mode and sure enough the music was playing, I reset it back to 0, exited and restarted the game, the music was back, so it must only happen in the windowed mode.

Don't know if this is a bug or not but while I was in the Labyrinth there was no music at all. I usually have it on. It may have been deliberate as you're supposed to go there to think. It was eerily quiet in there.

You are correct. This also happens with the Sound Volume.
The next time you start the game, you will hear Sound even though it shows zero in Options.

Here's a temporary fix for turning off the music.
Go to C:\Program Files\Wonderland Adventures\Data\Music.
Now Cut and Paste the six music files to another folder.

Maybe they didn't put any music track there. "Ljus" in WaDF has no music.
