Beautiful Top Bananahead! I had to look around and read all the signs and take in all the atmosphere. This is GREAT, love the shop puns :piratewink:

But of course I have no clue where to go first...just had to look around though. I'm so in the wrong place cuz I'm trapped. I'm hoping someone will comment and give something away soon :piraterazz:

Sorry everyone. I made a boo boo with the model file.

For the first 14 people, please download again, or you won't get to see the Eye of the Navigator.

Off camping in Cornwall now. Ta ta!

Ah-haaa! I was wondering why Loof was staring in awe at a pillar?

Great level Lizzie, I was totally confused wondering where to go at the start, so I sailed around some and slowly put together who was supposed to be where and when!

Took some doing to get them to their respective spots but that's what restarts are for :D

Lots of fun, thanks and have a nice holiday!

Booboo alert - booboo alert.

Lizzie has posted the wrong model file again. She posted the test version instead of the final one. Here is the final one in case you want to change it. The only difference is there are more peglegs, hooks and glass eyes per model than the first one.

I'm putting the mistake down to her being so excited about going on holiday so I'll let her off this time.:piraterazz: :piratewink: :piratelol:

Hey Liz,

This was great fun! And the designs are wonderful, Popo! You guys make a great team. 8)

I struggled with the boxes at first, but then everything began to make sense. Thanks for another wonderful level!

Anne, it's the reverse conversation now...

Great puzzle, loved it, but how do I get that bonus coin? etc etc...

So far, it seems I can only get through if I don't grab that coin. Not enough stuff. But I'm going to replan everything tonight and see what I can do.

Help!!! :pirateeek: I presume, maybe wrongly, that I'm supposed to get a boulder rolling across the blue timer button, but how do I get it onto the button without it plopping into the water? Anybody know? :pirateconfused:

Me too Popo...I've got a path in two directions, I can do certain things in each of those areas BUT not what I want to...and I really want to get a boulder rolling over that button. Misdirection? I searched and searched for another transporter or a hidden conveyor in the wall, no such luck.

Me thinks it's time to re thinks.

I'm with Popo and Robyn, how the heck do we keep that blue timer activated? I've tried umpteen different combinations with no luck!

Robyn, Popo, Gen:
I've got it going, but for all I know I've done it wrong since I seem to be short an item at the end for getting the bonus coins (even after Anne's wonderful hint). But just in case I'm n the right track:
Three boxes to the left island. Two boxes to the north island. Last of the original 6 straight down below the blue timer in the water. Metal box steers the boulder Then place it on the sunken box. Boulder down to rest on timer. Hit the conveyor timer, then transport down/up quickly. Push the boulder left to the stopped conveyor. It will start when the timer runs out and the boulder uses your transporter to move back and forth across the water.
If this isn't the opening for the boulder, maybe someone else has a better idea?

BTW:
That may really be wrong since the story is playing out backward. For me, First Qookie finds the eye, then they build the bridge to the TP, then Looflad shows up at the store asking about the eye. And while I finally have the bonus coin I needed, I now have 2 closed gates. I can't seem to fins a different way to do the blue TP, but obviously I'm messing other stuff up somewhere, so take my blue timer spoiler with a disclaimer:

"May be hazardous to further game playing."

I understand what you are saying, Loirae. The sign on the right most island makes it sound like you have to build a bridge to the blue TP.

"Well done lad! I'm Popo the spare parts maker. What parts do you need? If you do through the blue door first, I'll show you the shop."

But you also have to build a bridge to the shop in order to cover the red button so that Qookie can activate the white timer.

As a result, I am running around in circles!

Oh, hey! I just finally solved it! I think the blue timer idea is good. It took some really fancy TPing and in the end, I even had a wooden box left over.

Liz, may I say I hope you enjoyed a vacation while we were pulling our hair out.  Total brain buster - for me at least. But well done, for sure!

:D :D :D Excellent puzzler Liz, Finding the right way to go was the hardest for me. Loved the puzzle for the blue timer, Just read Loops hint and it looks like I did that way.
It was getting the white timer going that gave me the most trouble, DUH! Finally found a way that gave me time to get the timer going.
I had no trouble after that getting all the coins.
the signs are absolutely hysterical, The models are brilliant!
So far this one is up there for one of my favourites.
As far as left over items, I used everything but the plasma cube, never touched it.
Thanks so much for the great entertainment. :D :D :D

Now that I finally finished I can say "What fun!" (Which is not exactly what I was saying while restarting over and over.....)
I did it differently.
I used the icecube, but not the wood boxes in the kaboom/pink button room.
See picture.
janetgalle wrote: After I placed all the items except the ice cube, I rode the transporter back to the ice cube and then moved the ice cube to replace the wood box on the conveyer button. The wood box goes into the water at the red X. Then you can start the boulder rolling over the blue timer. Return to the transporter and ride back up to the top left box in the water and you can go up to the red button.
Hope this can help someone.
:) jg

PS: Excellent models and texture popo, as always.

Oh, Janet! So clever. I'd tried rolling around and around and filling in those spots that you marked, but for some reason I wasn't getting that one box placement thing. But now I wonder how you got qookie down. I'll have to try this out and I'm sure the pieces will fit together.

No wonder I couldn't think to put the metal box in the way of the boulder, I hadn't got a box left to put in the water, but after practising in the shop while I was waiting for a clue I realised I didn't need the box I had used in there.

I also wondered how I was going to get around on my transporter when I was going to use it fro rolling the boulder to and fro. Thanks for the enlightenment jg. :D

Now I'm off to put it all into practice. It seems simple now but you can bet something will go skew whiff.

I bet Lizzie did this one on purpose and she's laughing her cotton socks off right now imagining us all scratching our noggins.

Excellent puzzle, Liz.
I'm not sure if I played it correctly because I missed the story line a bit.
Protheses Popo did all the work in the shop and Loof-Lad has only been in the blue TP part. Well, he got is gold star and hopefully found a way to sail to Jellyfish Island.

Muchas gracias :D

Oh thank you, thank you, Janet. I knew I was going about it wrong, reckon most of us were. I looked at your pic for a bit trying to figure out how you got that boulder over there to the left if you put the bridge there by the conveyor. Well...DUH

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure she'll have a good laugh when she gets back too.....stinker

Great one Liz, I did enjoy it once I knew how to get that first part, sure was a humdinger. Looflad has the eye of the navigator and has set sail again to find jellyfish isle.

Liz may laugh. But since the story line goes wonkydoodle that way, I have a feeling Janet's taking the loophole path. There is another way to do it not at all like Janet's.

I don't know which way is easier, but this way follows the story line in order. Having said that, it's important to note, I just love Janet's ingenious way of solving cause you know how I love the loopholes. Kudos for finding that. :D

Here's how I ended up doing it:
Built a bridge to the right (in the middle, not at the top like Janet)
I put one box below the blue timer, the other two up to the island.
Got the other wooden box from the right island to compete the top bridge,
Used the metal box to guide the boulder then set the metal box on the sunken wooden one as mentioned earlier. Rolled the boulder down to the blue timer and started it rolling using the transporter as a part of it's movement. (Red Circle on image)

Next, Let Qookie out.
Loof hits the conveyor timer to stop the boulder so qookie can push the other boulder down and left to the white timer area.

Loof pushes the plasma cube into the Gray TP as the boomer is BELOW the Gray TP. This shoots the plasma up top where it can be more useful. (Light blue arrows display).

Then carefully goes in, moves a few things around to get the boomer walking on the walls, and the plasma cube goes straight left from where it entered the room - all the way to the wall.

Trap boomer between the box under the coin, the plasma cube, and one more wooden box, (Purple arrows display this)

You'll have a goobie for the pink button, a wooden box up there for the bridge, another wooden box still in the room and if you're lucky a wooden box from the conveyor (although half the time it got crunched when I put the Plasma cube through.)

Qookie comes down from her area, over through the Gray TP and they build a bridge to the Blue TP.

Both go through, one goes up (pushing that box in the water), lets the boomers free and gets all the coins. Then there is a box up there that allows you to get that last bonus coin.

Spare plasma cube in the area for red button.

Both exit through the blue TP.

I did it your way Loopy. The story did follow on much better that way, and I ended up with one box left in the pink button room.

I lost both boulders a few times by not timing closing the blue gate correctly, and Loof Lad now has enormous biceps from all the box pushing. Image :piratewink: :piratelol:

Yep, that way the story makes much more sense.
I'm sure I tried it that way the first 99 times but was always short of boxes. (And I was so proud of myself for thinking to push the cube thru the TP and bounce it off the boomer!)

I was trying to do it Loirae's way also, but Loof kept getting caught in the timer gate trying to let Qookie out. Then when he got rid of the boomer there was no boxes left over. It's funny how many ways this can possibly be done. I bet Liz had intended even another way.

Crimininy Kittyfish! What a puzzler! Thanks to both Loirae and JG for the spoilers! I ended up doing it JG's way. Easier and no fast moves. I just couldn't get the boulder rolling without getting Loof killed doing it Loirae's way. Just not fast enough. I'm now glad to say Loof-Lad has the Navigator's Eye (he must have wanted it really bad!). Thanks for the workout, Liz! :D

Holy Camolie's! I had to come back to get a hint on that blue timer. Got my hint and restarted a bazillion more times cuz I just couldn't do that Kaboom and still have enough boxes left. Well I goofed once....at least I thought it was a goof....with the cube and AH HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Finally got outta there with an eye....ewwww what am I doin' with an eye?

Great stuff Lizzie! Hope ya had a great time on Holiday and come back with all kinds of Piratey ideas to torture us with

Now I gotta go read how everyone did it hehehe

Edit: Yep I did it Loirae's way :D But WOW JG! Very clever and fast fingered.
