Question for Patrick ??

Post by uneekrose » Thu Jan 10, 2008 12:26 am

I was wondering if there was a way where it could be added that when you clicked on a users profile it would include a list to all their levels? It would be easier than doing a search. And easier to find certain levels.

Does this make sense?

You can use User Attach Panel in your profile.

If you just only want to show levels, then let Patrick do the rest!

Yes, I know that Timothy but I'm talking about other user profiles. I would like to be able to click on their user profiles and see a list of their levels, I already knew that my own was like that, but only I have access to it.

For example...I could click on your profile-tyteen4a03- and see all the levels you've created and see if I have them all and download the one I'm missing without going through a lot of other hoopla.

There, does that make more sense.

That would be great, but I can't do that currently.

In theory, what I would really like to see is a new style of discussion forum that is centered around the levels, with sorting and rating mechanisms, etc. But that would pretty much have to be written from scratch - so it's anyone's guess when/if that might happen.

OK, thank you Patrick for getting back to the question, I've just always wondered about that.

Great idea Monica! When I do searches sometimes I get weird results BUT within those results there may be levels of some of my favorite creators listed, ones that I don't have. But your idea would make things soooo much easier!

Patrick your idea is very cool also. A rating type system. Man oh man what a great idea!

Since each of us can search or get our own attachment stuff, there must be a way within the forum for us to find each others but not get into the rest of the profile stuff. No? The code must be here somewhere Image

Well you can click on a person's profile and go through their posts but if they like to chit chat a lot it can be fairly tedious to find that certain level or to make sure you have all their levels.

If I know the author I just search by author. You sure can't search by a title. I do title and author.
