Beyond Wonderland Beta Testing Begins... Now!

Post by Com Rante » Fri Jul 06, 2007 5:46 am

Hi all!

I just recently finished level 30 in my levelpack "Beyond Wonderland".
At this point I feel that I will need some beta testers to see how well the levels are progressing (it is hard to get that feel as the creator). This way, I will be able to have people giving me feedback on how to improve my levels before they are released.

Anyways, I want to find three people who I can trust with the levels. You must be a good Wonderlander who knows about level design, themeing, balance etc. and will be able to give me constuctive and helpful feedback.
You will be given three levelpacks over the course of production, 30 level levelpack, 60 level levelpack, and the 100 level levelpack. You also will be credited in the credits for you help and effort.

Please use this topic to let me know if you want to be a beta tester. I will PM you if you were chosen with more infomation on beta testing, and a link to the levelpack in its current state.

I will answer anymore questions you have for me.

Ciao.

Although I don't know how many levels you've worked on and how much experience you've had in making levels for RTW, I just want you to see if you truely fit in the catergory above. I am not looking for players, players are what I'm looking for when the game is complete. I am looking for experienced level designers who will be able to help me improve my level design, not add in what they think is cool. Like I said before, I don't know your profiles, so examine yourself and see if you are in the catergory of people I am looking for.

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

I think I'm quite good at designing levels, but horrible at building them. The editor was too difficult for me.
