A very long time ago I made a sequel to "Termite Dust" and a variation called "Deranged".
It was such an absolute stinker I never posted it, and since then have forgotten how to solve it.
Amnon spent many months deciphering it and offered to help anyone.
Thanks Amnon!!!
And thanks to Janet Galle for her famous Factory texture.
Happy Puzzling!

This is the wicked variation, if you want more torture.

I am grateful to Mark for those amazing levels.
Yes, I am here to help with both.
If you prefer to have the maximum challenge, I suggest that you choose just one of those levels to work on first: DERANGED is wilder and TERMITEDUST2 is rather tamed in nature, but I wouldn't consider the one significantly more difficult than the other.
Of course, if you prefer an easier time, you can look at the other level and compare both - which will give you a handful of hints.
Mark, if you need help, please be more specific because I don't want to spoil it for you.

I just completed "Termite Dust II", so I can lend a hand. That was definitely a Brentnor level.

I'm going to pass on this one -- there's no way I'm gonna be THAT smart!
Sorry.

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

I remember Termite Dust 1 and the hours and hours I spent trying to solve it. I got a gold star beside that one, so I must have done it.
This one seems to be a puzzler of a higher magnitude altogether.
Can't get anywhere with it Maestro.

Don't feel bad bad, Liz. It even took me hours to re-solve it.
And that was only because I remembered my original moves.
I'm posting it here by request for Amnon.
- Here are a few hints for "Termite Dust II":
° One box goes in the water.
° One sphere goes on the white button.
° The other sphere & boulder go together somewhere.
° Two objects go on the pink button.
° The remaining objects are all destroyed.
Timing is crucial for solving the "Deranged" variation.

Finally got some time to take a serious run at this.
Very neat. Many restarts to get my timing correct but gold in the end.
I'll try the 'deranged' version as soon as I get a chance.
Thanks Mark,
bob

I think it helped to do 'Dust 2' beforehand.
Worked out fine with the same basic moves.
Thanks again.
