Teen Buzz, the adult-proof ringtone: Can YOU hear it?

This is the Teen Buzz ringtone -- most teenagers hear a REALLY high-pitched annoying sound, while most adults (usually starting from 20) hear absolutely NOTHING, no matter the volume.
If you hear it, this allows you to set a ringtone on your cellphone, without the teacher having the faintest idea what's going on.

I hear it, but "on the edge" (sometimes the sound seems to slowly vanish) and I am 14.
This one is more high-pitched and I can't hear it at all:

Note: Please don't disturb yourself by trying to notice the sound if you don't hear it. If you don't hear it, you will NEVER hear it, no matter how much you try.


This works because with age, people slowly lose the ability to hear extremely high-pitched sounds. It initially was used as a teenager repellant in some shops, but clever teens found a way to use this to their advantages.
While I don't know why they just don't set their phone on vibrate, teachers, take care.

I heard the first one, easily, until the end, but it did start to fade. The second one I couldn't hear, but it sure drove my dog batty!

By the way, I am 34.

LOL this has been around for over a year. I kept hearing it at the mall and stuff like that and I originally thought that it was someone's hearing aid that wasn't adjusted correctly.

It totally bummed my son out when we both figured out what it was and that I shouldn't have been able to hear it

I have weird super hearing and sense of smell. I can hear and smell when a fly farts just kiddin'

Hmm, weird, I listened to the first one and it did start to fade. And I'm 11 too.

EDIT: I listened to the second one, and it didn't fade. This one was (as Muz said) more high-pitched, so I had to turn my volume higher.

I heard them both perfectly clear & I'm 46 with hearing loss. Students beware if you use that for a ring tone

Unless they learn at a different school. For example, in my school there isn't a break at 13:30 while in my previous school there was.

So Blast, let me see if i have this right .. you're 11 WITH a cellphone and you've got so many important things going on in your life that you have to call your friends at school .... none of this life threatening stuff can wait until school is over
