AAhhhhh..... I see a box "puzzle" as a first shot. One that requires a thinking hat.

Wish I had Peegue's thinking hat. I'll have to report back on this one, when (and IF) I can figure it out.

Looks like an excellent puzzle Lillian. Look forward to more from you!

I forgot to mention..... I'm not very good with box puzzles.

But I'll keep trying.
There was a level in RTW, I forget if it was custom or not, it had the most intricate box puzzle I'd ever seen. No way would I have been able to figure it out. I hope I can this one though.

Thanks for an interesting level.
(Hints as a PM are welcome).

It is a pretty hard box puzzle - but it can be done. Just make sure that you don't get zapped on your way out or you will have to start it over again!!!

Keep trying and if you are really desperate I will give help (that's if I can remember myself!!!!)

This is basically the same level that Cazza1 posted Aug 27 on the Classic Forum. Perhaps you have 2 member names, or maybe you revised her level. If you revised it, you should get the author's permission first & it would be nice to give the forum members that information as well.

No need to get your knickers in a twist Grandma! I have changed my member name, which, I think you will find, is my perogative.

I changed my member info when our hard drive got wiped as we had a new e-mail address, etc. The level works much better now as there are more buttons to use.

Lillian/Cazza/Caryl, whatever name you want to use is your own business.

I suppose the loss of data on your machine is as good an excuse as any to change your name.

Incidentally, now that we know who you are, what does pretty pants mean? I've never heard this expression before. :?

I don't care what name you use, what is important to me is that each member's levels be protected from unauthorized revision. I just knew I had seen this level before, and there was no mention by you of having posted one similar on the Classic forum.

This certainly IS a legitimate concern! Unfortunately we HAVE had a member in the past who copied another person's level without their permission and submitted it as their own! Also, it would be nice to know that you are the same person as cazza - it avoids LOTS of confusion, as you can see is currently happening now!!!

I, too, would like to know what this means! This was asked before when you were using your other name, but you never answered. We are CURIOUS!!

I didn't realise that I had to check with the WONDERLAND POLICE every time I posted a comment! Forgive me!

Pretty Pants means "cool" in my neck of the woods.

GOODBYE FOREVER!

Oh my goodness
A tad overboard aren't you?
I doubt I am the only one who noticed that the levels were the same.
All you had to do is explain it when you posted it.
Unless, of course, you did not want anyone to know who you were.

Sorry you feel that way.

My 2 cents worth: Frankly, when I post a level, I post it to be shared and enjoyed, no copyright, no legal concerns, if people download it and don't like it, they can keep it or delete it. If they do like it, they can play it as often as they like, and continue to SHARE it if they so choose. I do believe that's what this forum is supposed to be for. If someone were to choose to post a level that was similar to one of mine, I'd be flattered, not insulted. I wouldn't I feel infringed upon, defamed, nor rejected.

Nor do I WANT to see requirements on this (nor any other) forum which may dictate that a custom level, house, or model is copyrighted. Who needs it? The forum is for sharing. The game levels are for fun.

That's only my 2 cents worth. Others may feel differently.

Hi Roger,
I agree; when anyone downloads a level of mine they can do with it what ever they wish....except repost the exact same level, with minor changes and call it their own.
To me, that is called lazy. Sometime hours of work go into a level and if someone else takes it, adds a few things here and there but keeps the same layout and calls it their own, that is stealing.
And that is what this looked like.....but it was the creator posting both levels unbeknown to me or anyone else.

I've woken up from hibernation to put my spoke in here.

'Pants' does not mean 'cool' in the UK. It means 'not very good' or 'distasteful'.

Pants are not trousers, as they are in USA, they are underwear, knickers and Y-fronts or jockey shorts. A way of saying that something is bad is to say it is 'pants', you can even go as far as describing the worst pants imaginable, eg. pants with skid marks. or my favourite, Bri-nylon paisley underpants.

So pretty pants to me means quite bad. :x

Just wanted to clarify. Going back to sleep now.

British Slang
Pretty Pants:
As it happens, Americans have been queuing up to ask me about it, since it appears in television shows imported from Britain (and was used in the catchphrase for the recent BBC Television charity telethon: It has been an all-purpose term of disapproval among young people in the UK during the middle to late nineties. It means 'crappy'.
It first turned up in print in 1994, in pieces that indicate it was popularised by DJs on the BBC’s radio pop channel, Radio 1, most probably by Simon Mayo, though the finger is often pointed at Zoë Ball. By a year or so later, it was very much in vogue among teenagers. In the way of such things, by the time older people picked it up and started using it, it was already a bit passé; its recent very public exposure has almost certainly put paid to its popularity among its younger users

You are right Popo, as you can see by the above text.

Just one of the Gestapo putting an opinion in.........

You are very generous Roger, I don't think there would be many authors agreeing with you. Imitation can be a form of flattery but I don't think it is if you are stealing someone else's work!

As was stated previously, this happened before and the author was very angry. If permission is sought beforehand, that to me is totally acceptable.
To use another persons level after many hours of work is not.

Lillian/Cazza/Caryl, you were asked a simple question, there was no need to take that attitude and run off again. The people on this forum may be curious AND loyal but, you will never find a more helpful bunch.
I have had many a spat with someone, probably there will be many more.
I just move on and don't hold grudges.

Just me giving my opinion which, thank goodness we are still allowed that privilege.

OH! FOR GOODNESS SAKE!

This has got quite out of hand!

FIRSTLY, and most IMPORTANTLY, I have NOT copied anybody's level. The bloody level was always my invention, so this whole string of shit is a complete waste of everybodys time!

SECONDLY, in my house, I call both my children "pretty pants" - it is just a term of affection, used when they have been good boys. If you don't like it - then you can all take a running jump.

I made this level in good faith. Having really enjoyed all the custom levels on this forum, I thought I might have a go myself. If I had known that all this WASTELESS trash was going to come out about it, then I certainly would not have bothered.

I have received a few PM's from "normal" people on this forum, ensuring me that the "Wonderland Police" are in the minority, and to try and ignore it. Thanks for your support guys.

Now can this be the last of it - PLEASE!

I'm not passing judgement here, everyone can do what they like as far as I'm concerned. BUT you do seem to have brought this on yourself by not telling anyone you'd changed your username. Not that that is a crime in itself, but it's understandable that people thought you'd nicked the level when they thought you were someone else. If you wanted to remain incognito perhaps you should have thought twice about using that level again, then no-one would have been any the wiser.

Never mind, it's all in the past now. You could always change your name again and start over. :)

I am a total outsider, and from all of this gibber jabber, I can see that gramma did not mean any harm, but: "Lillian/Cazza/Caryl, you were asked a simple question, there was no need to take that attitude and run off again." Gramma is one of the most helpful and kind people on this forum and she was just attempting to set a protocol that no one be allowed to take credit for someone else's ideas--No harm done because the great work was yours to begin with. Lighten up--no one here is Gestapo or Wonderland Police--we are just mostly a bunch of adult children trying to have some fun. Keep up the good works. :)

Lillian,
Could you please give us a spoiler on arranging the boxes. I suspect that the bottoms of my boxes will soon be wearing through. Thanks.

Armando - Lillian left some visual clues -- look at post subjects in this forum titled "Screenshots" and "Screenshots 2".

For what it's worth, like you, the bottoms of my boxes are about worn through, and I still haven't solved it.

But for some reason I keep trying!! :D :D :D

Good luck. Maybe the visuals will help you.
