New Level - AND NOT A BOX IN SIGHT!

Post by Lillian » Wed Oct 20, 2004 9:48 am

This level had a memory access violation in it when Quookie got killed. Mid Syn fixed it for me with version 2.05 - so I hope it is OK for you

Hi Lillian,

I am still on v2.04 as I assume I will get an e-mail when the new version is generally avaliable.

The level worked fine tho and no memory violation error for me

Good fun, thanx,

I didn't have any problems with this. Well.... except for completing it!
There's something evil  down that last corridor!

Fun level Lillian, am proud to say that I finally finished it!
And NO TRICKY BOX PUZZLE !!

Thanks!!

Yeah me too!
I really do like this kind of puzzle(getting chewed on, jumped on, shocked, spiked and blown to bits) much more than
I like ((dirty words)) box puzzles ! I have a hard time getting my logic to kick in........whereas I can take getting creamed and starting over and over pretty easily!

Thanks,
jg

I got the memory access volation as well. since I can't play this I will just delete it. What part i got to play it looked very interested and would be a good level.

Sometimes there is just too much extra "Stuff" in the level.
Put it in the editor and remove all the extra exits.....it won't look as pretty....but you should be able to play it then.

If you guys send me an email - I can email you back the link from Mid Syn that enables you to download RTWD 2.05 (latest version that stops any crashes).

JG - I must stop trying to make my levels so ornate! Sorry, but I worked in roomset photography before I had my children, and its the "soft lighting element" coming out in me!

No need for emails, the link to the update patch is here.

www.midnightsynergy.com/returntowonderl ... ate205.zip

It contains wdlgame.exe file that will replace the old version if you unzip it into your RTWD directory. It should stop the crashes. :D

Hi popo,

Thanx for that - have downloaded and installed - all OK

I must admit I don't check the official site too often - just wonder why we didn't all get an e-mail to say v2.05 was avaliable :?:

I don't think it's on the official site, it was in the 'Help - fatal crashes' thread in General Discussion. I've still got 2.04, I think the only difference is that you can change the pentogram to star or something. Patrick said something about emailing everyone when he decides to put the final patch out. I think it would have been a good idea to put the patch links in a sticky thread so they would be easier to find. So if you're listening Patrick.......

I'm just working on one more bug, once that's fixed, v2.06 will be the official update (and you'll all get an e-mail).
