A chain letter that B believed, and C was satisfied cause he could use it as material for hoax-disproving website, and then buried it in anger?

No, but that's not really important in this case.

And Muzozavr, I think it's an interesting story, allthough I still understand completely about that website. But the answer is no.

Muzo, you just completely cracked me up!

Oh! I'm supposed to guess. Ok, was the box bigger than a cigar box?

Yes, the box was about as big as a common steelbox or a green sphere.
8)

Kidding, actually it was as big as a (24 bottles) beercrate. (But there was no beer in it 8) )

Was the content a living creature?

No. Allthough it was organic, it was not living anymore, and actually I wouldn't call it a creature either.

If "Yes" to Muzozavr's question then...

How big is the living creature...

1. Was it a Cable Box?

2. Were the contents alive before the burial, or dead always? (In other words, a non-living thing, with bones. :? ) ...wait...nevermind.

3. Did you make this up? :P

Was A intending to send it to C by this transaction, or was A sending to B and B then simply thought that C would have better use of that?

Sweet Juliet. :P :P Actually I'm not sure what you mean with "Cable box" and neither with "make up" in this situation.

Yes, the content was alive first (but as I said before, I wouldn't call it a creature)

Muzozavr. Actually B and C are equal in this situation. It was also possible that more people were involved in this story. Then A should send it to B, B to C, C to D, and the last person should bury it.

This might seem obvious but I didn't see it guessed (I probably missed it) was it a plant that died and seeded out to be replanted?

Hmm does that even make sense. Monica yer the plant lady can explain my guess better?

"Cable Box" is a box which holds wires and such, to make your TV show things other than regular TV. Nevermind about this one though, because it was never alive I suppose. :)

"Make this up" means: Did you invent this riddle? 8)
(I was sort of joking. :? I'll be serious now!) :D

Is the box buried on a cemetery?

Is it supposed to stay buried forever?

I didn't invent it myself. I heard it a long time ago.

Lutz: No. somewhere on a quiet and unimportant place. And yes. It should stay there.

I'm getting maybe a bit disturbing here, so spoilerising:
Was it a dead body?

Disturbing yes, but necessary to ask.

Romeo will be away for at least one hour, maybe two. :(

Questions: (unless Muzo already guessed correctly)

1. Were other people standing around when the box was buried?

2. Was anybody crying while the box was buried?

Seems I've heard it before also and it's been weighing heavy on my brain.

We know that at one time it was a living thing...right?

It's not a plant and not human remains..right?

So what would you put in a small steel box that three persons are glad about and bury into the ground forever?

I'm stumped......

I have no idea Monica. This one is hurting my brain the same as Muzo's riddle. :? But here are some of the facts...all in one place.

uneek, "was it somebody's ashes?"
Romeo, "No, but you're in the right direction (a very little bit ) "

uneek, "was it bones?"
Romeo, "Bones? you come closer in the right direction. But it was not just bones."

Muzo, "Was the content a living creature?
Romeo, "No. Allthough it was organic, it was not living anymore, and actually I wouldn't call it a creature either."

Lutz, "Is the box buried on a cemetery? Is it supposed to stay buried forever?
Romeo, "Lutz: No. somewhere on a quiet and unimportant place. And yes. It should stay there."

Muzozavr: No. I said before: no one died. You asked before about a living creature if I'm right. I think it's a human being/man/women, or an animal, or a plant. It's not one of these things, and I also said: It's not even a part of a plant.

Juliet, there was no one else when the box was buried and no one cried.

mqdar, the content was been very important before. But at that moment not anymore.

Monica, if you mean with "human remains" what remains after a human die, then it's no.

Sweet Juliet, thank you so much for bringing some order in the chaos :P :P :P

Could it be a time capsule?

Could the box have a statue of St. Joseph that you bury so your house sells real fast???
...those are not red fish, they are Honeybees!!!
