Hi all :D Can't answer for where Lillie is, but haven't ya missed me

Been a crazy summer, things are just now starting to calm down to the boredom stage, thank god school starts next week Thursday. :D

Vacation was good, didn't want to come back from St. James Island in South Carolina.. it was SOOO beautiful, the beach was great, the water was a perfect 83 degrees, boogie boarding was fun and the food was FANTASTIC.
Can't wait to go back next year Image

Got myself a job, I start this coming Thursday. Nothing to spectacular, but it'll get me out of the house & give us some extra cash... which is always a good thing

Haven't been doing much, since we returned from vacation, seems the thermometer wants to stay at 100+ hell, Image so we've pretty much been prisoners in our house, to flippin hot to even go to the pool.

What's everyone else been up to... post your excitment here, it'll give me somthing to do as I try to stay cool inside

Yes, Laura I missed you too. You were right down the road from me in NC, you should have stopped by, my lawn needs mowed...LOL

It's 100 plus here also and I need to see if I can get part of the yard mowed in the morning while it's semi-cool.

Sounds like you had a nice vacation. Hope you like your job, it's always nice to have extra money coming in. I'm taking three days here on the 17th and a friend and I are going to Myrtle Beach, SC, another friend has a condo down there and she's lending it to us which is nice.

I notice when forumites aren't around, it's like missing a part of your family.

Welcome back....

Don't cry Laura...you'll make me cry!

Ofcourse we missed you. :D :D :D It's 104/105 here for the last few days! I need a vacation in the alps. 8) Where I can snow ski.

The reason it's so noticeable when Lilz is gone, is because of the Level/Action/Puzzle (whatever it's called) forum, I think. It's just so weird not seeing her name much. :?

You got a job? Yuk!!! I suppose I should get one of those...........someday. :D Is it a part-time job, or full-time?

Shoot Monica if I'd have known I was so close.. I'd come mow your lawn.. do ya have a riding mower

Myrtle Beach, SC, Ohhh that's another place I want to go visit. I know you'll have a good time, make sure to eat lots of nice fresh sea food
We were actually at Folly Beach right by Charleston, SC LOVED IT. I had no idea Charleston had so many interesting things to do.. that's why i want to go back next year, spend time at the beach & doing all the fun stuff in Charleston Image
I guess now that my sister lives in SC, we'll always have a great place to go vacation.

Dizzy, I'm not sure what the job is gonna be.. Full or part time. I'll find out more tomorrow. I do know this for sure, if it does fit into my schedule for my family I'll quit.. after all Emily's needs come first.

It's been almost a year since I've worked, I'm a bit apprehensive about getting back into "the swing of things" and "having to be somewhere" But, once Em starts school I can't bear the thought of sitting in this house all day with just the dogs. It'll all work out.

I've missed everyone here too ... it seems strange to come back after not being her for so long & not have a clue what's going on :?

Bobbin Robbin, how's things with Ty? I hope the Dr's have finally figures out what's wrong with him & he's getting the proper treatment.

Can't help ya in the "Lillie" department, maybe she has wonderland block or maybe she's busy with her job & kids :?
I've been missing Lizzie's Kids levels .. as a matter of fact I've miss your kids levels too Dizzy, how about it are ya up for creating a few

Weather has "cooled down" here a bit today, instead of 100+hell it's only gonna be in the low 90's 8) Gee.. maybe I should get out my winter coat just in case

Gotta run, catch ya all later

Oh yea, I have a riding mower, needs new blades. My husband will change them eventually, I'll have to run over a few more rocks though...lol We have 4 1/2 acres and I hate mowing it, my husband is to involved with his hobby to get out there and do it and I let it go hoping he will do it. Then I get stressed out at him as I'm mowing, I have such terrible thoughts while I do it involving him and a baseball bat....lol

I used to live in Charleston, that's where my daughter was born almost 29 yrs. ago. I haven't been there in years.

I already have a chain saw and a cast iron fry pan...lol

First hubby was stationed there in the Navy and when he got out we ended up in AR. I had a lot of fun in Charleston. Ended up there cause my older brother was stationed there when he was in the Marine's.

Well heck y'all doesn't everybody have a chain saw 8)

Although I don't have a husband anymore (THANK YOU GOD) I just bought a new husband beater at the flea market last Saturday. Tyler made pancakes in it and they were good.

Laura baby! Ty is doin' great! Football starts next Monday and school on the 2nd of September. This summer really flew past!

I thought it was bad being in the 80's here, you poor folks in those 100's UGHHHHHH I keep moving further north as I age to get away from the heat, unlike most folks go south for the winter. My next step north is Canada  Although even Bobster is further south than I am....guess I won't be movin' in with him and the missus

Ok Sassypants ya better come read this thread about you! Look at all the news!!!!

Hey Bobbin .. GREAT to hear Ty is doing so well, healthy enough for football ... that must make you both very happy :D

School starts here EARLY .. Next week Thursday (Aug 14th for those of you that can't figure it out  ) It was a REALLY short summer break, only 10 weeks this year  That's cause of the crappy winter we had last year.. we may not get a lot of snow, but we certainly got our share of ice storms last winter (I wish we were having one of those right now  ) Our flippin school district never schedules in enough "bad weather days" .. so the kids ended up having to go longer this past spring.

Monica, both my nephews are Marines, both are stationed at CAMP LEJEUNE, NC. Well, one is actually at Twentynine Palms, getting ready to ship out to Iraq, the other will go in Dec. or Jan.  Small world though huh?

I don't have a cast iron skillet... but a marble rolling pin works just as well   Got it as a wedding gift, when we opened it someone made the comment " Is that a kitchen utensil or a weapon"

Oh ya one more thing.. Bobbin Robbin our 100+ hell weather is 100 degrees + 97% humidity  .. not fit for man or beast
Fiannly cooled off a bit today, & tomorrow's suppose to be even better 8)
Next summer when I'm not at the beach in Charleston eating she-crab soup, I'm moving in with either you or Loiraie

<big giant gasp>!!!

I couldn't survive in that! Me and heat don't get along, we had an argument when I was young so now I just don't mess with that nasty mean heat

We get our share of ice storms too but folks are so used to those that it isn't really much of a big deal.

Hmmm Dizzy, it seems like ya started another anything goes thread hehehe

Oh yeah....still miss ya Sassypants!

A few weeks ago I sent her a PM to ask: "how are you?" Now a few days ago she answered there are some personal situations and she is very busy with work. I really hope there are no other problems!!!

I'm convinced I speak on behalf of everyone in Wonderland when I say:
Lillie, we all appreciate your presence here very much, and we hope you come back soon!! :D :D :D

And if someone disagree with that, he or she should have the courage to say that here, right in front of the forum  8)

Hello everyone! :D :P :D

Sorry for the disappearing act! I hadn't realised how long it had been since I last posted! I have just been really busy with work. I am working full time now and my children are also on school summer holidays - so what little recreation time I have - I am spending it with them as they are used to having mummy around all the time normally during their summer break. My husband was made redundant recently and is in the process of finding another position. Therefore I have been busy working lots to bring some spondoolies in! :D

Apart from that - there have been some family health problems on my husband's side and we spend some time in Gloucestershire with his family to help out where we could :) Things are on the mend there now so that is good news! :D

I have tried to play some levels recently - but just can't seem to get into it! I have zero ideas or enthusiasm to make levels either  Just a bit Wonderlanded out at the moment. I am sure it will come back soon! I apologise for not being involved in the Puzzle/Action Levels forum - just can't seem to be able to play nor create! :D I am sure The Keekster and everyone else are keeping you all occupied with their splendid creative levels! Just wish I could get the "bug" back to play them!

Missing you all! I promise to keep in touch when I get the time :D Once hubby gets a job and the boys are back at school, I can go back to working part-time again and really get back into Wonderland! :D

Thanks all for this thread - I have missed you all too! :D You are a great bunch of people and I miss having a laugh with you all and making up silly names for you all too!

Muchos love - Lillie xxx

Come and see me Robyn; we get our hot days but usually only a few in a row and then a cooling trend moves in for a few. In fact we've had quite a cool summer overall. And stay here in the winter and you'll be dreaming of those scorching days of summer down south again! Image:lol:

hehehe Laurie, I hate the summer. I'll deal with ice and snow and cold before hot any dern day!

I still would love it if we could get a bunch of Wonderlanders together that are in the States and Canada. We're just a bit more spread out than those folks across the Pond :(

Then all you folks over in the land of Heineken and Windmills would have some serious travelin' to do.

What fun that would be!

Yeah where's Sue, Kazzie, Pandybear...there's a few folks that haven't been around much this summer :(

Nice seeing you pop in Lillie and saying hello. I have missed your name calling...lol

If your working full time now then I'm srue those kiddies are wanting you all to thier selves when your around, so that's a good thing. I hope the hubby finds something soon so you'll have a break. Sonuds like you need one.

I've been playing some of the older members levels and it seems as if after awhile most seem to disappear some for a bit and some forever, I wish I had been around to have gotten to know some of them.

Laura I mowed my yard this morning....took me four hours. Just think, in two more weeks I can do it again.......sigh

Thanks for the "heads up" with your life Lillie... Sorry to hear Stan was laid off  I'm sure something will pop up soon & you'll be back to lounging in your jammies eating chocolates on the sofa all day

Don't work to hard, pop in when ya can :D

Mownica, I can't believe you only have to mow every 2 weeks  shoot if we waited that long, the grass would be knee high. I'll come do it for ya in 2 weeks .. 4 hours of peace & quiet would be a grand thing
