New Levels (adv) - Shadow Levels

Post by bob roest » Fri Sep 05, 2008 3:14 pm

These have been sitting around for a few weeks so I thought I'ld throw them out.

They both use Janet's 'justboard' texture, thanks!

Good to see you poppin' in Bobster. Hope all is well with whatever it is you need a break from. So glad ya threw these out for us.

The first one was easy for a Bobster level and great fun to figure out. I think Loof's part was the hardest though.

The Red Shadow one stopped me dead in my tracks. I can do all kinds of things but not kill the red dude thats holding me up. I'm sure that was your intention but I think I'll find a way, some day hehehe

Thanks :D

These were fantastic. The first one just flowed so nicely and most of the work was done on it's own. On the Red shadows I was kinda scared to go in there, but it wasn't so bad. I of course did not choose to take that coin (you know which one), but that's ok with me I made it home.

Two fine levels, Bob :D

Stinky had to be quick in the first one. I like the way each stinker opened the way for the next one.

The red shadows have been not so easy. Had most problems getting the green button covered.
Once I managed to kill the UFO by accident in the green gate :P
But I also finished it the intended way.

Thanks for two times fun :D

:D :D Great levels, both of them! :D :D Indeed Stinky had to be quick at the beginning  I thought there was a rule about that 8) With the second one, the same happened to the UFO what Lutz said. The other time the UFO and kaboom destroyed each other, I guess that's the intended way.

Thanks for the fun! :D :D

Finished the first one. Turned out to be easier than I thought after I quit killing off Loof with that boulder the rest went pretty smooth. Fun level Bob...thanks

I can't kill the first red dude in the second one. Anyone want to please send some help my way...??

No, he doesn't. There's lots of time.

Still, if that's that the way you made it work, good for you!

Take the coin on the ice, just right to it, and the yellow sphere will do the job for you... you must, however, get that coin from below, otherwise you will catch yourself in the dude's fire!

Amnon, we know 'how' to do it, we just don't know HOW to do it.
Well in my case anyway!

When I go for the coin, I get shot down every time.
So the question is, how do I move fast enough to get the coin with out going up in flames.

This is what I did for the first part:
- Push yellows left in water, jump up and yellow one below gen also left in water.

- Red one down, wait a while and jump D-R

- Jump D-D

- Then I'm on the breaktile left of the icecurve, so slide right and up to take that coin.

Thanks Marinus,
I was collecting the coin at the red spheres too early!
Got it now.

My case also...Thank you Marinus for a proper spoiler. I was doing the same as angelinus and collecting that coin to early, for some reason I thought if I waited and used the tramps I would land on the red sphere...duh Just wasn't looking at it right.

The rest was pretty easy, I let the second red dude shoot most the botties which only left one by the time I got up to the coin and the box. I just couldn't leave the bonus coin I had to have it, but before I grabbed it I pushed the metal box and used it as a shield. The UFO shot at Stinky, blew the boomer and itself up in the process...

Great and fun levels Bob...thank you
