New Level - Small Level XXVII

Thanksgiving is about over; everyone should be full by now! Time to relax with a small little level!!

Being stuffed....like the turkey was, the best thing to do is sit and not move, play one of Majic's majic levels...and that is what I did.
This is a tricky little gem....but it sure was fun to figure out.
I like the tree in the door look.

Yes - that way when you decorate your tree, you have both your inside & outside lights done all at once. But you have to use your back door until Christmas is over.

Just a thought, if you have turkey for Thanksgiving, what do you have for Christmas? More turkey?

Sometimes we have turkey again at Christmas; I think it just depends on what I feel like that year since I'm the one who usually cooks Christmas dinner! Sometimes we have prime rib, sometimes ham or goose or duck. Last year, we had turkey again at Christmas because we deep fat fried the turkey at Thanksgiving, and it turned out so yummy, decided to do it again!

Everyone's probably got a different answer for this one!!

In our family, the tradition was always turkey at Thanksgiving and Ham at Christmas....
But as your kids marry and acquire in-laws, then things change as there are so many invitations, too much food.

Christmas Eve is at my house, and it is Italian. Christmas Day at my daughters, and that's more TURKEY.

One time we had a goose, and the kids had a fit....no white meat.

As a kid growing up in Wis, the food we had at Thanksgiving was so special and looked forward to because it was only available at that time of the year. Now you can have turkey and all the fixin's anytime. Venison was part of the Christmas dinner as well, if a relative was lucky enough to get one during deer season.

All that food.

I think if I ate that much in November I wouldn't want it again in December, it's too close together. At least here there's really only twice a year, Easter and Christmas, with enough time in between to be ready for it again.

I much prefer beef or lamb to turkey, perhaps because I eat a lot of chicken throughout the year and turkey isn't differnet enough. Prime rib of beef is delicious if it's cooked medium rare with the blood still running. I don't like it if it's brown all the way through. OOH my mouth's watering.

The best part of a turkey is the broth made with all the leftover bits, I really love that.

I found this level JUST RIGHT!! Not too tricky, but enough to make me want to beat it. Great job! I made a turkey AND an apple glazed pork roast for Thanksgiving. It was SO good that I froze the left over glaze and plan to do it again for Christmas. We have a traditional Polish Christmas Eve with NO MEAT at all, and then on Christmas day I have a buffet free-for-all for anyone who cares to drop in. (My birthday is on Christmas and I have five kids, so I don't like to go out that day!) This year has a bit of a damper on it, as my hubby is serving in Iraq this year. It is the second Christmas without him. Last year he was in Cuba. Please keep him in your prayers--his name is TED.

All those dinners must be good for your brain (can I have some turkey?)
cos the levels you churn out are fantastic. WTG!

Just to add to this discussion. We always have turkey and honey roast ham at Christmas. Now that there's just the two of us, we will still be eating it at Easter!

My husbands family were farmers, after plucking hundreds of turkeys, come Christmas they could hardly eat one because their fingers were too sore to hold a knife and fork.

Teri, I'm sure everyone will keep Ted and all of the servicemen and women in their prayers. Just remember, all hearts go home at Christmas.
I hope you spend many birthdays/Christmas days with Ted.

Thanks to you all for your prayers and wishes! As I told O'gramma, Ted will think it humorous that I have found support in "Wonderland" when my "real" friends have all but disappeared. haha!!
