Hi to all from sunny oz. I am having problems with getting a crab to get frightened enough to run further than intended [quote] i am in the temple and need the crab to go to the yellow dot[quote]
On a brighter note, isn't it just delightful to have a new Wonderland game to sharpen our wits and addle our brains, just in time for the silly season. hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and a prosperous and happy new year. 315pm timing is the key, and try and try and try again. finally got it and my biggest hint is save save save. now stuck on getting a spikey to do what I want it to do.....

Crab Wrangling 101 Here's tips for crab wrangling that I've learned from doing it so much:
If there are 2 or more tiles between you and the crab, he will stay in place. SxxC -> stays
(S=Stinker, C=Crab)
If there is one tile between you, he will move in a way that puts THREE tiles between you, whether you step to that spot, or blink to it.
Start: SxxC
You move: ->SxC
End Result: SxxxC
If you move from 2 tiles between to 1 and back again, he will move in a way that puts TWO tiles between you. Again, whether you step to that spot, or blink to it, as long as you move away quickly.
Start: SxxC
You move: ->SxC
You move while he moves:<-SxC->
End result:SxxC
This applies to diagonal tiles, too.
Hope this helps you in the many crab wrangling levels you'll find.
Thank you for the tip. I think that I was clicking on the crab spot and that was why he kept on doing what I didn't want him to do. trouble is when by trial and error, many times, i get the result that I want, I don't realise what I have done. Must play the game at reasonable times not when half asleep
Too busy with EHM2007
