FORUM DROPPING POSTS?!?!?

I think the board has just dropped a bunch of posts from today and yesterday! Especially noticeable on active forums like Mette's MOFI solution thread and the WA solution forum.

Anyone else seeing this, or just my computer?

Yes. There were about 2-3 days of posts lost... see another post from me in a minute.

It's like deja vu. Came in here this morning to find I'm reading posts from last Saturday as if they were new, and everything since then has gone, including all my PMs.

What do we do now then? Do we have to remember everything we said and type it out again?

It's only a few days posts lost. After a few more days we've all forgotten about those missing posts

Well, you were warned to make backups. It's not like File --> Save as HTML is hard to do.

Exactly - this new server should (hopefully) make things run smoothly. As for the missed posts - I do apologize Erwin, but they aren't coming back.

Ya, you can thank the server migration service for that - I'm not happy with that result either, but I'm not going to chance another backup/restore at this point - not when so many other things can go wrong that didn't (it could have been much worse - the whole thing could have gone poof - now THAT would have been a serious loss). Plus, if I back up again now - you would loose the new posts on the new server made in this time.

h207013: as mentioned to you before, you are doing multiple posts, and have posted several messages without real content. I have been deleting many of your posts.

Please read the forum, and consider posting fewer but better thought out posts, i.e. with actual content or clear (!) questions, or I will need to suspend your account.

I think h2o7o13 is being serious that he/she actually has a problem with making posts that the thing makes it come up multiple times.
