first I went to paint (if you want to you can suggest something better than
paint) and then put the screen to 64 by 64 then put thirteen textures (to
go with the main texture) then I went to the page which has all the folders
in next I made a folder in custom textures (with blue and lush) and put the
title of my texture in, and then I put all the textures in paint into the folder
that I made, next I put all the names in that was in the manual e.g.
sign.jpg (copied and pasted) and I didn't accidentally copy any of the
comas (or ands) they were all complete all the right names in the folder
with the name of my texture inside
the custom textures folder.
Then i went to editor, made a test level
and pressed T with shift of course.
(with a QWERTY keyboard) and typed in the name of my texture the which
is also the EXACT SAME NAME as the folder with my textures in, (inside the textures folder)
then pressed enter and you could see the
name of your texture in the left bottom corner of the editor. next I pressed
on the textures button until it said custom then I saved the level and tested it
BUT
there was a normal texture that was already on their!
I think it picked the normal texture because it didn't recognize the texture i put in!
that means i must have gone wrong somewhere.....
Does any one have any suggestions of easy mistakes and things that I did wrong (that were at the start of this post)
sorry by the way for needing help and being a little more on the dumb side of things!

(by the way I hope i posted this in the right area

Also maybe you have to put something in capitals?
