Sorry Bigzips, did you say one wish :?:

Oh well... one other feature that would be handy is in the custom level selection area. Rather than just listing the downloaded levels by name, have the option of sorting by name, creator, and level creation date. This would be handy for checking out levels by your favorite level designer & keeping track of what levels you've actually played.

It's awesome to see so many users now & levels being created & posted but it's hard to keep up if you don't log on every day - I'm probably close to 3 pages behind now which is kind of scary. The date sorting would be invaluable.

Looking forward to Wonderland 3 :D

Yeah, I wish we could sort by creator, too. My folders are a mess. They're "sorted" in a big list and I just start a new folder every once in awhile. At this point, trying to fix this would be a big job.

I'm still giggling, Robbie, thinking about Stinky walking around with a couple of boulders and a metal box in his pouch, looking like he ate WAY too much sugar pie!

Uh huh... but hey, don't ask - you don't get. It sounds like I was getting carried away wasn't it??? But you have to admit it'd be pretty neat.

So Pat, what do you think about our wish list - any sort of direction taking place as far as WL3?
and how about more signs? huh?

I have three in order..... (on rtw editor)

1.You could put two tiles on the same space
2.Signs didn't cost
3.You could put two objects on the same space

(I would go for 1. if I only had one wish)

WHOOPS THIS IS A REALLY OLD TOPIC!!!!!!!!!!!

I would wish for animated textures. That feature would make it
really WEIRD. :) :!:

Do I get a second wish?

It's not as weird as you think. The WA game already has some build-in textures that are animated. For example, the teleport textures (which are also used for the cuboids) are animated so that the stars move upward, and the waterfall texture (which is also used for the shadow stinker) is animated so the water flows downward.

Now if you're thinking of animated textures as in animated GIFs, I doubt they'll do it (does the game engine even supports non-animated GIFs for textures?). However, I do agree that it would be nice to be able to use some simple types of animations on a custom object texture, similar to the animations the game already uses (as described above).

No more wishes period on this thread! This thread is really old. It started in 2004 so that's probably like when the RTW Editor first came out.

Use the "Fun Ideas" thread instead for whatever wishes you have for future versions of anything Wonderland-related.
