Well, it's a while since I posted this, and cos no one is replying I guess you all don't know what to do either... I'll leave this for a week and if there are still no replies, I'll PM Patrick.
I'm sorry, no idea either what causes the problem. With me it always works fine, even no matter if the "num lock" is on or off. With Windows XP though.
It doesn't work. Nothing happens. Even when I try on a computer, Alt+X doesn't do anything, but the game runs a bit slower. Do you think Patrick would know what to do?
Marinus wrote:Do you mean you tried on different computers, and it works on none of them?
Also does it work with none of the 3 classic games? (Original Wonderland, WSW, and RTW)
Seems like a complete riddle to me. Anyhow, if there's anyone on Earth who knows, it's probably Patrick. You can always PM him about it.
I have tried with WSW and RTW (I don't have the first Wonderland game) and on my laptop, a school computer, the family computer and my friend's computer.
It's really annoying. But thanks, I will PM Patrick.
It isn't really supposed to go back to "normal" as with the Shift key. It's a total free camera view, so if you've got it in an different position, then get it back to normal manually.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya. Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.
Great! Actually I even mentioned the "num lock" key, but it didn't seem important to me though.
No, the view is not supposed to go back to normal. You should do that manually, but I use to restart the level most of times. [Edit] But I see Muzo just told that.
*sigh* A lot of times it seems that the only answer to a problem is staring us right in the face.
It's things like this that make us want to play Kiki's levels to see if we can complete them without the same thing happening to us!
Having recently tried it, I discovered that it won't work in that simplistic way.

For my laptop, I attached a good USB keybored, ...
and the camera options do work with
CTRL-ALT-X + ... + any selection of Pg-Up, Pg Dn, Home, Delete
[ You've got to remember to put the "Ctrl--" in there. ]
