PUZZLE ADVENTURES VERSUS "BANGS"
Am I the only one who enjoys "PUZZLE" adventures as opposed to levels that just blast you at every turn & become so totally frustrating that you just give up???? With puzzles you want to start again & really try to solve the whole level, but with these other disasters you just plain "GIVE UP" and never want to see them again!!!! Let's have more puzzle adventures where you can really "sink your teeth" into solving the level.

o .. here you are ...
Hi Tasha - I posted on the other thread .. leading on from that, Puzzles v Bangs is as much a debate as Impossible v Do-Able which is what I was saying. Some levels have me scratching my head raw while others are saying how easy they are - some levels I skip through and enjoy immensely whilst others are struggling to get through.
It's all part of the technicolour Land of Wonder which is altogether puzzling and FAB.

Tasha - I hear what you are saying regarding your preference to "puzzles" rather than "Bang-Bang" levels.
On the other hand, I am not sure if you have ever created a level or not. But when one creates a level, it normally gives one a lot of self satisfaction, for many reasons - namely:
to master the level editor is a feat in itself
to actually "think" up a level time and time again is quite hard to do
to create enjoyment for others
to get personal satisfaction when you get comments good or bad.
People's brains work in different ways, some like really hard levels, some medium/easy levels. In the same way, level creators' brains also work in different ways. If there is a particular person's levels that you don't like - my advice to you is "do not download it" - that is your perogative.
Please don't be offended by this - but I don't agree with you slagging off other people's levels.
Enjoy Wonderland

I have to agree for the most part with Lillian's comments. While I prefer
the "puzzle" type levels, I also realize that not all players do. When I
create levels, they're not all head-scratchers. Sometimes playing a level
is just plain fun, or appealing to the eye, or "cute", or interesting in it's
concept, or any number of things. Many is a time when I come home from
work after using my brain all day and want to relax it a bit.
A lot of youngsters play Wonderland, and not all of them can work on the
more difficult puzzles, but they like sending Stinky, Loof and the gang on
their merry way. I'd hate to see youngsters discouraged over difficult
levels and give up on Wonderland!
I think quite a few of us much prefer the puzzles, but not everyone does.

I don't think we're talking here of puzzles versus simple levels. We're talking of levels that have no puzzle whatsover and are just like trying to cross the road in the rush hour. Nothing in them but spikes, electro tiles, UFOs and the likes, no gameplay at all. Just a case of make it to the exit in one piece. Nobody minds a few danger spots, but when that's all there is it isn't fun anymore.
