Hello folks!

Just thought I'd update you guys on what I've been doing lately. If anyone was wondering where I went, I've mostly been surfing 8bit music communities, and creating chiptunes. If you don't know, chiptunes are a style of music that emerged a few decades ago. A chiptune is a song made purely on a computer, with instruments represented by waves, that are saved with the song. Most music in older games on Nintendo or Sega are chiptunes. I like to study chiptunes and fiddle around with my own experiments, mostly made in ModPlug Tracker. I've been sharing my music with a lot of people lately so I thought I would stop by here!

Listed below are my 5 most recent tunes (newest at bottom) made in ModPlug Tracker; I hope you will take a listen and tell me what you think! Constructive criticism or praise, whatever, I'll listen to it.

Well 8bit may be a tad too specific, but I wasn't sure how else to describe them.

Yeah, I guess they are 16bit, the style of music is just commonly associated with 8bit, so I refer to it as that.

this is amazingly nice music, has a dreamy feel to "Snow in The Sky".

Oh hey guys! I see this topic got bumped!

Thanks for the compliments! I can make some short tunes for people's games if they want; actually I've been experimenting recently with music that loops better - the above songs have very defined endings. PM me if you want to discuss anything game-related.

VirtLands - I am a bit obsessed with octagrams and other "stars" - the image in the video is a blown-up version of an image I made. I was too lazy to make big, individual images for the songs, plus I was putting my music up on several websites and didn't have time.

TheoX, I was thinking that if you could MAKE music this nice, if you made remixes they'd be epic :3

Maybe you could try it. What would be nice is the Ducktales NES Moon theme remixed :P

I've thought about making some remixes, though I'd probably only do songs that meant something to me - never played Duck Tales.
