Don't worry, that's Episode -1.

I hardly put any effort into Episode 0 and Episode -1. A new weapon from Episode 4 will be introduced in Episode -1 if any punks are interested in taking down almost all the bosses at once.

Some bosses had to be excluded because they may crash the game when defeated - their functions usually depend on what room they're in.

Alright. So here's my plan...

You can equip accessories via "Accessory Codes" that you can get by completing an Episode. You'll get three Accessory Codes per Episode: 1 for pants, 1 for hats, and 1 for facial wear. The further the Episode, the better the accessories will be. Accessory Codes will be able to be entered by pressing "A" during gameplay.

Yeah. Doctor Pants is wearing pants which was a whole separate sprite, which gave me the idea to make accessories for the player and other enemies as well.
