Make Rainbow Stinky "walk"?

If it is supposed to be a secret don't tell me.
But sometimes I can get the Rainbow Stinky statue to "walk" and sometimes he just stands there like a, well, like a statue.
I can't seem to figure it out.
Is there certain combination of elements, or design sets you have to use?
I know if you have alot of activity in the level he won't "walk".
I just haven't been able to consistantly make it work.

It walks for me but it's always in the same place, is that what you refer to?

My rainbow Stinkys normally only move when I stand right beside them. When I move away, they stop

When Deluxe first came out, I noticed this and wanted to know what was the secret that determined whether the rainbow statue mimicked Stinky or not. I emailed Patrick because I knew HE would know -- he wrote back HE HAD NO CLUE EITHER!!!

That was 6 months or more ago - maybe he's figured it out since then?? Patrick???

It remains a complete mystery. I think it's a sign that there's more to Wonderland than meets the eye.

Or is it a clue to a long lost super-super-secret mode? Ooooooo, wouldn't that be something. Maybe Stinky programmed that part and put in a little extra something? We might never know.
