It actually IS some kind of Rosalina object, however, it has these bonus functions: another texture that maybe moves (i forgot), it appears when you die a lot of times she appears, she will make CPU stear Luigi/Mario with a ball flying around Mario's/Luigi's head, and at the end of the Course, she turns the star BROWN, and if its brown and you never complete it yourself, the galaxy will NEVER be completed and you WON'T be able to reach the GrandMaster galaxy (i think).

You actually will be able to get the Cosmic Jewels with brown stars too. You only need 120 stars for them, no matter what.
All my stars are power stars or green stars now, i don't have any green stars though.

There are green stars in this one too? Wait... You just said you have green stars, and then you said you didn't. And I don't know what Cosmic Jewels are but if you are supposed to learn what they are later in the game then don't tell me.

Isn't it a waste of time to do the Cosmic Guide for some star bits? And again - what are Cosmic Jewels although don't tell me if I am supposed to find out what they are later in the game?

You'll find out, but i also have a spoiler.

Cosmic jewels are the Green stars, although green stars are actually GREEN Prankster Comets.

Correct except it won't show up as Luigi (i think)

I listened to the toads and I didn't hear anything about Luigi. Except one of the toads said that the ship looked a bit more like Luigi than Mario (and I already thought that) and then the toad said "where is Luigi anyway?" (or something similar).

I just unlocked world S. I defeated the final Bowser boss on my first try.

No. Those games had piranhas but they never said any of them had the name "Peewee". Peewee is in Super Mario Galaxy 2 though.

New Super mario bros. is the original 'new super mario bros' game.
The Wii one is just an edit of it, but for Wii.
In the original 'nsmb' game there IS a Peewee in world 3 witch is the ice world.
