Just wanted to add...

I have been thinking about the points system, rather than any of the previous contestants deciding a fair way to do this. I would like some of the 'newbies' suggestions as to what they think is fair.

Lets say we give points out of ten for the description and five for each correct picture guess. I would like your opinion on what sort of handicap is fair to the 'oldies'. Myself, Popo, Cat, JG and Jersey.

I look forward to hearing from all of you.

erm .. not sure how this will work in practice ...

How about the "oldies" are awarded an average of all the "newbies" scores so they are neither advantaged or disadvantaged by what they know already against the newbies and still have a change to score big (or fail miserably) with guessing the piccies they don't know ?

I'll go with the flow anyway - I'm after a good larf, not too worried about winning/points etc

How many judges will there be? MAD and Popo? Or just Popo? As for the
point system on description, I think that's fine. As for 5 points for correct
picture guess, I think there's going to be at least 1 that everyone will
get correct, so that's everyone's handicap

.

For those that participated last year, maybe 2 points for each picture? If
there are 10-11 participants, they'll know 4 of the pictures, right?
So that's 40% given, which is 2 out of the possible 5 points.

Just an idea. (Is Eeyore in?)
Oh..... and Kazza's last sentence..... RIGHT ON! Just for the fun anyway.

Some of us are not oldies or newbies, but in-betweenies. We went in for the Kid Pics competition, but not the Picture Me 2004. So we may have some vague idea about people from their childhood photos. Would this make a difference to points?

I'm with Kazza though, I don't care about winning, just the fun of being in it - init?

I look the same, I still wear that swimsuit, it was one of those elasticated things that 'grew' with you. It's a little bit tight now though.

And Maureen, I would never say you were old. I don't do things like that. I am a nice person who never gets into any conflicts with anyone. So there.
