It's about 8:30 AM on Christmas Eve.
Our family sent us tons of presents.
We don't even celebrate Christmas.

I always thought that "eve" was an abbreviation of "evening". Isn't that so?
Anyhow, to anyone who wants to celebrate christmas (as for me, I don't care that much about such days):
Merry Christmas!

Well, around here eve just means the day before.
New Year's eve is the 24 hours of December 31st.

Thanks. Yes it seems you're right.
Wikipedia wrote:^ Note: The definition of 'eve' is not identical to 'evening'. In the OED, eve is defined as "The evening, and hence usually the day before a Saint's day or other church festival. Hence gen. the evening, or the day, before any date or event.", Oxford English Dictionary, Second Ed. (1989)
So it can mean the evening before, but also the entire day.
Technos, it's tomorrow for most people. Except some parts of Australia and Asia, where it is already 25 Dec yet.

If you can't stand waiting take a 17 hour long nap.

The stopwatch on my watch has been on for 3 days, 20 hours, 27 minutes, and 10 seconds when i hit submit.[/size]

I remember last year I got a BIG PSP bundle with a PSP, chargers, carry case, ear phones, many games, and many movies. That was the christmas gift of 2009. I wonder what the chrismas gift of 2010 would be for me. Along with my 1000th post!!

MSTS (Train Simulator by Microsoft) lets you also choose the train route.
In a train simulator you needs to follow signals, timetable, directions etc, just like real railway systems.

MICROSOFT MADE RAILWORKS?!
Marinus@: I did not download it yet, but you can watch the trailer and gameplay videos by searching "Railworks 2 train simulator" on YouTube.

Thanks Tyteen and ^_^. I've watched a few video's and it looks nice, pretty realistic. However you can't see what the driver (not sure if that's the right word) has to do.
Well, Microsoft made also a flightsimulator: FSX, so probably also a trainsimulator.

The time zone has nothing to do with it. Christmas always starts at 12 AM.
