It's simple. When waiting for the spikes to come up then go down, switch to the other character and move him or her closer. It saves time.

OK, now that is a good one. I have gotten 3440 but since then I forgot even that. Tried just now, got 3410.
3470 is a very good score, looks like some interesting routeplanning.
EDIT: Actually it was simpler than I thought it would be. Now I'm even beating that with 3480 and 4:08 remaining, although barely. Granted, without competition from your side I would probably never find that.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya. Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.
Just quickness. It depends on the time when you push the lowest canon left. You have to push it just after the the last box in the bonus section is destroyed.
4150 on Dig Dug! by killing more enemies, 4:25 remaining. A little more luck with the coily could have possibly given me 4:26 and 4160 but what's already there is still fantastic.
Ring of Fire -- no idea on that! My best on that is 2690.

*wonders how you did get that*

Dig Dug is very simple as long as the coily behaves. You have to lure the top chomper in the left corridor, then kill two chompers with one boulder. Then you need to clear out everything else and kill the coily with that other boulder. Then you collect the coins on the bottom and RUN!
Ring of Fire probably requires me to plan out the fastest way to get those coins once the conveyor is stopped... and I can't say I know how to do that.

Had little time right now. I *will* try out your challenge, OK?
EDIT: OK... how? I'm putting the boulders in water in the fastest order at the top (top one first, left one second) and I don't think I waste any time but 4780 and 5:28 is the absolute maximum I can get. What's the secret?

Got the Trampaland and Quicker Qookie ones. Peegue Power leaves me wondering at how do you get those last two seconds... I tried being as fast as possible, but no matter what, you HAVE to wait for that boulder to land near the yellow buttons... and then your time is already wasted.

After pushing the fourth leftest boulder right go down then right to the next part.
Please try to do it again, but press Ctrl+F5 beforehand and tell me the FPS number. I'm seriously convinced there's a timing difference (a-la "2990 on gridlock") because that's what I've been doing all along.

I meant I'm doing both that and the right order at the top. Sorry, with my game speed 5:29 is just not happening.
I have checked myself over and over -- the only place where I might be missing something is the bonuses... the "obvious" fastest way might not actually be the fastest... but if that's not wrong either, then 5:28 is all I can get.

Just as I suspected. Following the exact same path with no stopping inbetween. I press ENTER and then hold the "down" arrow before the level starts loading to start off immediately. The path is followed exactly, but the timer goes to 5:28 very slightly before the exit...
Which means there's a timing difference. I'll try something right now...
EDIT: Nope, tried switching the graphics detail to "LOW" temporarily but it did not change ANYTHING.

This doesn't make sense. Are you sure that you haven't stopped at any point of the level?

The secret to that is pushing the ice cube down early. There is a small moment when the boulder is on the conveyor button before it goes onto the ice and stops on the conveyor button. You have to go onto the conveyor at that precise moment then push the ice cube down.
