Do you have enough Blue-tack? It repels water IIRC.

Anyways good luck, it's not easy to kill somebody inside in a storm.

No, he was inside when he posted that he was in the middle of a storm. If he were back afterwords then he wouldn't have said that he was going to die.

In Dutch we have an expression: "a storm in a glass of water". Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I think if someone is going to die in the middle of a storm, with no houses near, he/she has something better to do then take a waterproof laptop with a mobile internet connection, to post on the Wonderland forum.
