Quest for the Five Elements (RTW level pack - 158/195 levels released, NEW: "False Prophecy")
This, is an RTW adventure, designed as the unofficial fourth classic Wonderland adventure, taking place after WSW and the rainbow invasion from RTW Deluxe!
Earth. Wind. Water. Fire. Soul. The five elements that hold the fabric of Wonderland's reality together have been scattered across the very edges of the universe! The destruction of the Void and the subsequent rescuing of the stinkers has caused a disruption in spacetime, and it's up to the stinkers to stop the looming elemental storm and secure the sources of all five elements. How many mysteries will they unravel? How many lands will they travel? This will be their biggest adventure yet.
You will uncover dozens of mysteries, and come across tons of little adventures in one! This quest is aiming to utilize all types of puzzles, and use them in as many ways possible! There are several kinds of levels in this quest: from speed and agility, to fast-thinking, to puzzle and mind-bending, to everything in-between. Also included are special kinds of levels: Conversation and Cutscene levels - where you switch back and forth between characters and they talk to each other through signs! These levels are where most of the exposition takes place. Are you ready for the ultimate adventure? Join the gang through 4 diverse chapters, 18 worlds, and a whopping 195 levels! What is effectively a multitude of adventures held together by one, this quest was designed to keep you busy for a while. Complete the quest, and enjoy your rest.

DISCLAIMER: This series is still in a 'beta - rolling release' phase, which means it is likely to feature updates to existing content already! I try to release levels and worlds only when they are in the most complete state, but ultimately I do need other players in order to complete the testing process, in the event they find alternate solutions/issues that I do not see. Check back now and then again - I will always post when anything in this main ZIP file is updated, so that you know exactly what to overwrite.

I really want to get people excited about this, so why don't I give you all a first look at the adventure? I will post 3 screenshots of 3 different levels. You can speculate what's going on/where the story is at, but I will not respond with a "You're right" or You're wrong." I'll just let you guess.

Free level from the adventure is coming tonight EST time! Meanwhile, let's have a closer look at the story...
The level will probably come from the first part of the story, while they're still in Wonderland *mini spoiler*.
If enough people are hyped about this quest, I will up the number to 5 levels for tonight!

Thanks Elvis!
ANNOUNCEMENT:
I don't know how long I was planning on waiting, but I can't anymore. The first demo of this adventure will be released within the next two weeks. This demo will contain the first two worlds - 15 levels total.
The worlds contained are:
1. Stinky's Cove
2. Upper Elevators
There will probably be multiple demos, but I don't plan on giving out any more than 50 levels before the final release (which should be within the next 2 months).
Testers needed. Sure, they're beginner levels, but testers are still necessary; not just for gameplay testing, but everything else as well - story, scenery, suspense, alternate solutions, etc. If you would like to test the demo levels, PM me. I won't need any more than 2-3 testers.
So, await!

The demo is finally here! Well, the first one is, anyway.
I am proud to give you all the first two worlds of the Quest for the Five Elements RTW adventure! Since it's the beginning of the adventure, the levels are going to be pretty easy. Some of them have a bit of tricky-ness to them, but most are pretty straightforward.

Here is the level list:
Blue = Easy
Green = Intermediate
Dark Blue = A bit puzzling/challenging
World 1 - Stinky's Cove
1. Welcome!
2. The Back Woods
3. Boulder Puzzle
4. Loof's House
5. Through the Forest
6. The First Element (First CONVERSATION level! Yay!!)
World 2 - Upper Elevators
7. The Lake
8. Gates and Such
9. Crystal Gate
10. Crossing the Lake
11. Nearby Switches
12. Encounter Blockage
13. At the Gate of Wondertown
14. The Chamber of the Element
15. Element 1: The Earth Element
Time limits are not set.
I hope you like the levels so far! And remember, have fun!

OK, so I just had a good look at those. I've finished every single level except for "Through the Forest" and "The Lake", mostly because I'm lazy. I also haven't done this version of "Gates and Such" because I have already completed it back then.
1. First of all, VERY good! Despite its drawbacks, the whole thing does achieve a WSW-like feeling and pulls you inside the game world. So don't take any criticism too personally, it's still an awesome level pack and I will recommend it to anyone. However, there are a few things for me to point out...
2. TOO MANY TREES!!! No, seriously. I have almost been wishing for the Doom chainsaw to appear in Stinky's hands. Like in "The Lake", it's way too hard to even notice that the cyan gate is there in the first place. Other than trees, the scenery is pretty awesome.
3. For the first few levels, you look really confused as to whether you wanted this to be your own thing or to make a WSW remix. Thankfully, the levels develop their own identity soon after... though occasionally the question returns. Like "Crystal Gate" -- based heavily on "Watch Your Step", right?
4. Lastly, why do so many of the signs address the player directly? It's quite strange for an in-universe sign to refer to my out-of-universe quick fingers, for example.

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Thank you for the feedback!
As for the trees, the purple gate was suppose to be hard to find. Hmm... I'm sure I can remove some excess trees in a few levels, notably Through the Forest.
There a quite a few levels that take inspiration from some WSW (even some RTW) levels, but I've tried my best to make it something new. For example, in "Crystal Gate", I've based the central puzzle on "Watch your Step", but have also added the extra puzzles and "rooms", not in "Watch your Step". Sometimes I twist the entire puzzle so you don't even realize I got inspiration from a WSW level. Not to worry, though, because most of the levels (if not practically all) are original.
For the signs, do you mean like the one in "Chamber of the Element" (as posted for you example)? That was actually suppose to be Stinky talking. But I can see how it was confusing. I guess I could try to re-word them. Sometimes, however, out-of-universe signs are appropriate. EDIT: I normally give the out-of-universe signs to address small hints toward the player (notably in "Chamber of the Element" and "Crystal Gate"). I'm sure I could re-word them in a way to where it is in-universe - maybe something like "We'd better be quick here, Loof!" or "If a box on each button would block the passageway... I think I'd better have a look around before anything."
Thank you and I'm glad you liked the demo! There are more to come!

Any more comments/criticism on the demo? I'd really like to know how I could 'better' the experience (and know if you like it ).
Hmm... I guess I will share another screenshot.
...Or 3 more, that is.

I've done all the levels! Here's my comments:
1: TOO MANY TREES!!! Try to remove some in the full version! If you have a level with finding your way through trees, great! But there is no point in blocking the screen with trees when there is a completely different puzzle to solve.
2: Did you know that you don't need all the boxes in "The Back Woods"?
3: Try to think up a few unique puzzles. I can see from your pictures that they do get more interesting, but this first demo had way too many crate/boulder pushing puzzles.
4: Other than that: GREAT!!! The storyline is EPIC, the puzzles are very good (but see number 3 above), and the scenery (other than trees) is just like a WSW level!

Thank you for feedback!
1. *cough*Muzozavr*cough* No but seriously, excess trees will be removed. In "Through the Forest", the objective is to find the path through the woods in which you can get the boxes through to the water. But, I'm sure I can think of something else.
2. Yes. I added the extra one for players who may get stuck (not that anyone would). Seeing as you're the third person to aware me of that, I guess I'll just remove one.
3. *cough*itsonlythefirstdemo* I agree. Lots of puzzles later on even still are based aroud boxes (read: level 121). But, they are so diverse that you can make all kinds of devious puzzles with them. (What else would you expect on a level 121 box puzzle? ) Don't get discouraged, however, because the levels get better and more unique as the story progresses.
...Or you can play the 90x55 level 115.
Thanks and I'm glad you liked the storyline!

Free level coming tonight! (EST time)
I mean, why not? This time, however, I'm going to let you all choose a level.
Pick a level genre! Do you want an action/speed challenge? How about a puzzle? Maybe even a co-op speed! Or a mixture of all three! Or a series of small mini-puzzles? Anything!
You then give me a difficulty. Easy! Moderate? Intermediate?? Advanced! Maybe even Expert! Impossible!!
So, your genre + the difficulty of the genre (e.g. "Advanced Puzzle") gives me the perfect level to find! If, for example, 5 people want puzzle, but 4 want speed, I release two levels. Difficulty varies, however. Some players may find a puzzle easy, while others may find it incredibly difficult to physically impossible. Based upon results, I'll pick a suiting difficulty for all players.
Have fun!
