Well worth playing this level,
I would be curious to know how those 5 sticky cubes are
broken into, but 1st I have to pass stage One.
Will be back...

I would never have been able to finish this big thing all by myself, but thanks to much help from my friend Mark, who sent me the separate parts of the level, and also told me how to play the part with the chomper, I could finally play the whole level.
I had figured out the chomper area only partly by myself, but I think I would not have found the second trick without help. Great moves!
The Sokoban was quite challenging. I've struggled with it for quite a while, but finally I decided to use a solving program. Perhaps I'm an average Sokoban solver but not one of the best.
As for the rest of the level; I could solve it by myself, probably because I had the advantage to play it in separate parts. I enjoyed it much!
Thank you all for the level, and especially Mark, thanks for the help!

Well, after 6 months of THINKING, I noticed that secret teleporter to the first section (which doesn't have anything to do with "thinking"). Maybe you could have placed a sign as a hint?
It's just a bit annoying, I thought one of lemarquis's levels would be very hard and tricksy, but not have to use a hidden item.
Now on to the chomper section...

I'm the one responsible for the hidden TP. For anyone else that's stuck, there's a third TP hidden in the hill behind the goob at the pink gate.
My section is the Sokoban one. I have actually started by making an easier version of it, then kept making it harder and harder till even I couldn't solve it! I had to use a solver program to see if it was still solvable and, to my surprise, it was...
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Thanks for telling that; makes me feel a bit better, because I also used a solving program for the Sokoban.Muzozavr wrote:My section is the Sokoban one. On the other hand: You never could be sure that it was solvable, and I trust you, to not come with a puzzle that is not solvable.
The main reason why the Sokoban section is so hard (even though it doesn't seem to be all that complex) is because many of the moves needed to solve it are just ridiculous... in a "no sane player would ever do that" way. It somehow became a Sokoban puzzle with some ridiculously non-Sokobanic thinking.
And I used the solver program before sending the puzzle to LeMarquis. So your trust in me not making unsolvable puzzles is well-founded.
(I have only ever made one unsolvable level -- and even that was by mistake, sending a test version instead of the actual one. Since then, I double-check everything)

BTW Please feel free to post a full walkthrough to this level...
Actually I can't take credit for Andy's cool photo. Virtland's is very talented for anything with graphic design.
Unfortunately I don't have a walk-through for this one.
Marinus just emailed me a walk-through for LeMarquis' section with the chomper/teleporter:yot yot5 wrote:I give in, can someone please post a small hint for the chomper/teleporter section?
I created a separate section of this level so you can practice the moves here:Push box up into left TP and enter the middle TP. When timed correctly, Loof will merge with the box on the aqua button. Take coin, step down and push box on black TP left. You will teleport to the separate island with 3 tiles below. Don't take the coin. Instead, go left into the black TP and lure the chomper to the left side. TP down quickly to avoid chomper and appear on the right side. Push box up into right TP and enter the middle TP. Keep pressing the down arrow key until you merge with the box on the island below. Finally step right to take coin on break-tile and exit left.

Hi
It must been said, that the walkthrough was not written by me, but I found it back in an old email, sent by Mark.
However, I have written a walkthrough for Mark's sections, but that was probably before the entire level was ready, so there might have been changes after that.
If someone is interested I can see if I replay the level, revise my walkthrough, including the other parts, to a full walkthrough for the entire level.

Awesome Marinus! Please do so
Been very busy with films these days (Pacific rim).. but should be back soon hopefully...
In the meanwhile, Here's some food for thoughts... Can someone solve these 2 puzzles???
A.
1, 11, 21, 1211, 111221, ?
B.
1221=0
1881=4
7961=2
0101=2
6918=4
1018=?
Good Luck!

A: This is exactly the same as a puzzle included in The Arm Farm, my second adventure.
B: I'm working on it...A wrote:312211
Here is a full walkthrough for this masterpiece!
1. Step:
L inside steelbox
R (jump U) to get coin.
Jump L to get other coin.
D and slide R inside barrel.
R pushing barrel L to dancing Z-bot.
DU to remove breaktile.
L over ice and through TP on white button.
2.
L through TP, pushing steelbox R.
Follow, jump UL inside barrel.
D pushing barrel U in water.
U on barrel.
L to get coin.
UL over ice through TP.
L through TP
R jumping UR out of island.
3.
Go to Marquis' area, where the chomper and the 2 steelboxes are.
Push box up into left TP and (after a few milliseconds) enter the middle TP.
4.
Lure the chomper to explode the barrel, with the boulder at the right side.
Get right one of two coins, above 2 icecurves.
Push right one of new generated boulders D, to explode barrel bottom-right
Get coin on breaktile, right-above boulder generator.
Push other boulder left, to destroy goobie. (it goes on pink button.)
5.
Push upper one of three woodboxes at the right side: R, 4D.
Push it 4L, U (walking twice around the lake.)
Push lower one of 2 remaining boxes, to where coin was above 2 icecurves, mentioned above.
Push it D, and immediately step L, getting other coin.
Push it 2U.
6.
Go through pink gate and push goobie U through hidden white TP.
Follow and get coin 2 left of lower white TP
Go R through TP and R again, jumping UL.
Walk all the way U and jump U to above island.
Walk R over breaktile
7.
Push box R, 3U, L to put flame out on hidden tramp.
Third of three boxes (still untouched so far) the same way, over the icecurves, and 2U.
Jump (using hidden tramp, mentioned above) LD
Push box the same way, jumping on middle goob.
8.
Go again through pink gate and hidden white TP.
R through TP, again R and jump UR.
Push box the same way as the other two, destroying other box between goobies.
Follow.
9. Push:
Right goob 2R over tramp.
Upper goob U, 3R, 2D over tramp on coin.
Left goob L, 2U, 5R, 2D over tramp on coin.
Let remaining 2 goobs jump D on right coin, using right tramp.
Get coins.
10.
Go to the bottom of the level, Jump L over tramp and blue gate. (Muzokoban!!)
Push box in the middle: 1R
rightmost bottom box: 1D, 1R
top-left box: 1D
top box: 2R
11.
right (top) box: 2D
middle box: 1L
left (top) box: 1U, 1R
middle box: 2L, 1U
12.
right (top) box: 1L, 1U, 2L
bottom box: 1L, 1U
bottom-left box: 1D
left (top) box: 1U, 4D
13.
bottom-left box: 4R
box above Loof: 2U
box 2 left of it: 1L
box 2 right of Loof: 2L
14.
At this moment, all woodboxes should be in an open gate, except for the bottom-right box, which is 1 tile right of an open gate.
Now, stand on the breaktile, activate the green timer, and in one very fast movement, push that last box 1L.....
15.
Get last coin, step L, R, and exit.
Well done!
I almost would have said: You could have looked in the editor, however, that resulted with me into a MAV. Does anyone of you know why?
You could have temporarily removed, moved, or renamed the models, to see what they are hiding.YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME THERE WAS A BOULDER GENERATOR IN THE UFO!!!
