POTZ might be a S.E? It might not have a demo.
When I was observing the WA3 Update topic, I noticed plenty great features like UFOs, New indigo magic, Nice textures, New objects and an editor. The editor might be the reason it might not have a demo, take RTW for an example. It was a Special edition to the trilogy. I'm a bit worried for me and other WA players who have no money and want to try out.

I think somebody already mentioned this in the WA3 Update Thread, but the reason (I think) RTW didn't have a demo, is because it was a merged editor and player (sort of). I don't see any reason why MS would merge the WA3 editor and the actual game. Therefore, if he doesn't merge them, there will probably be a demo. Its smart for developers of games to have a demo, because that means people can try the game, realize they want to buy it, and then they get it. I wouldn't be to worried about it.

Yes, RTW didn't have a demo because of its built-in player side of the editor. However, this will not stop MS from creating a slimmed-down version of RTW without a built-in player, so I don't see why RTW couldn't have a demo, and how WA3 will not have a demo once the editor is built-in.Fluffshery wrote:I think somebody already mentioned this in the WA3 Update Thread, but the reason (I think) RTW didn't have a demo, is because it was a merged editor and player (sort of). Also, every Wonderland game had an editor - they were just capable of making adventures/level though, and some of them are not publicly released.

Agreed, months is enough to beat the game, if you release the editor and the game at the same time, maybe it will make spoilers for some elements for the people who didn't beat the game, like the indigo magic, right?Midnight Synergy wrote:Currently the plan is to release WA3 with a demo, but without editor, and release the editor a few months later, as I did with WA1. But that's still open to change.

Plus, there are no reason to put the game with the editor, because the game won't load the levels like RTW, right? it's just annoying because the editor files and the game files together, it would be hard to find where to put the textures, and the custom stuff too!

Sorry for my bad grammar.
