Uh, well, that kind of misses the point. But if you are, I suggest Totheark. You know, the medium-height creepy mask guy working with Slenderman who appears in Marble Hornets somewhere in the early 30s?

Doesn't he appear on entry # 18 pretending to be dead ? (To be honest I was so scared I just skipped to his part :P )

I never watched Entry 18 because of some glitch that wouldn't let me start the video. But I know I saw Totheark attack Jay in the episode where Jessica disappears in the hotel.

Oh, another person who doesn't know... :P
I wrote: There's a glitch with this topic existing for a few tens of pages.

When all posts (the limit is 30 posts per page) on a page have been posted but another to start a new page hasn't been posted, the glitch makes the page count look like the next unstarted page has been started. When clicked, the link says 'No posts exist for this topic,' and you get booted to the index.

For instance, when the 30th post of Page 56 is posted, the Page 57 link appears but it goes nowhere until someone makes a new post.

To prevent this causing trouble, we just make sure to quickly post and start a new page after the 30th post is made and the 'false' link appears.

Understand now?
Also, the post count in this topic is one higher than it should be.

Nevermind about the supposed early release date. I won't be able to work much at all tomorrow due to unforeseen complications.

I bet any money it'll include a mysterious Maze with a scary dead end.

Remember, 1 fun, original puzzle is much better than 100 alternating bridge chains.

You're close. The whole mansion is a large maze, and it's scary, to some extent anyways, but so far the only actual dead end I've put is a brief one when you run into Totheark. (I couldn't resist putting Slenderman's friendly masked assistants in my level.)

There is one maze in the dark, in a different wlv, but it has no bad endings. :)
yot yot5 wrote: Remember, 1 fun, original puzzle is much better than 100 alternating bridge chains.
Welp, I haven't reached the part with the most original and fun puzzle. There are already several puzzles, but most aren't new. :(

Also, the level doesn't end in the house. When I say I'm halfway, I mean I mean I finished the part before the mansion and mansion itself, more or less. :|

The level goes quite some time after, in a haunted forest, then a graveyard, a hilly area at night, a temple, a sewer, a watertower, a wrecked house, and a creepy alternate dimension. Most of those places will be one wlv long, (fortunately,) but the dimension will be several wlvs long. :o

It may seem out-of-order, :? but there is an explanation for how the player gets to all these places.

As for the bridge chains, the conveyer puzzle has 40 and there are two others used for making one-way paths in a small puzzle. So no, not quite 100, only 42.

Believe me, they're literally three bridges short each. They're not boring, just a little confusing.

Just to clarify, Masky is not totheark (Jay is supposed to be human. Not everything he says is accurate), and neither Masky nor totheark are The Operator's assistant. Though it is implied that totheark is allied with Masky. Heck, it's not even certain that either one of them is evil.

Hey all. I'm trying to make one of my puzzles in my 21st adventure "Zombiism", and I need some help with the flip glitch. I want to place buttons on the ground that you can only pass over once, so I use bridges/buttons on the same tile. When I play the adventure, buttons only seem to work some of the time. Is it something to do with the way I flip the level?

Buttons on barrels are extremely glitchy.
Placing button over water tile makes it behave like floor tile.

There's a workaround for this: place Chomper somewhere outside the level and make button X or Y adjusted, so it is pushed by Chomper, but appears over the tile that you step on. However this way makes using once-passable buttons very limited.

I'm very sorry, but my 21st adventure will NOT be called "Zombiism" and will NOT include the Jade Vine. The three-root-burning-puzzles just don't work well with this editor. I will come up with something cool, but it'll take a bit longer. :)

DP

This is the 10th evening that I've been editing and I haven't made any real progress. I know this is really out-of-the-blue, but my frustration with my levels has gotten to a point where I'm just going to junk my entire storyline on Lost Wonderland, my Halloween Special, the brain teasers and other challenge things, and The Void trilogy.

I know I will regret part of doing this, but I've deleted all the progress on almost all of the levels I've been working on. My plots were just going nowhere.

I'm debating with myself whether to finish The Fourth Wall or not. Considering how much commotion I've caused with it, I don't want to junk it. I have an idea to turn it into a tennis, but I wonder now if anyone would actually want to start a game with me.

I'm going to finish up on my current tennis match number with llarson, but that's it. I'm not going to participate in the Wonderland!10 competition either.

I need a fresh start. I will start a new level list, beginning with TTNW Part 3. I'll keep my 18 levels as part of my old level list. Most of them are short enough that it doesn't matter anyways.

I'll spend much more time on my levels, releasing much less often but putting more effort into my work. I'll start drawing out my puzzles before making them.

I'm also changing my music pack up a lot. I've deleted the archive for V3. Anyone who's using my music pack, please wait until tomorrow so I can re-upload V4.

No, it's not because of the quality of my levels is degrading, it's because I simply have too many levels to work on at once and I want to have only one at a time like most other people so I can focus more. Also, I MAY include some of my characters from my old storyline, but they will probably be very different.

DP.
I was thinking for a little while, rememebering everything I did, i said that I'll finish a lot of the adventures , but, I didn't, I'm feeling very bad, because of that.
for this, NO, BECAUSE OF THIS, I will make advetnures again!
The first thing I'll do is reinstall the editor, because it's not working any more for no reason. :( :?
then, I will start making a simple adventure, release it to the forum, then know what people think, if it is good, or it isn't.
after that, if it was good, I will make a bit longer adventures, if the people like it, I will make long adventures.
This is my plan so far.
I hope I'm not annoying anyone, or make him angry.

It turns out that conditions have been exactly convenient and inconvenient enough for me to release GC2 in a few hours. Hooray for intended release dates!

It might have to be a little shorter than anticipated though. Although, that shouldn't matter much since I've somehow managed to scare myself a few times with my own adventure.
Wonderman wrote:I know I will regret part of doing this, but I've deleted all the progress on almost all of the levels I've been working on.
Bad idea. If you want to focus more, then force yourself to work on one adventure at a time rather than a bunch at once. Small bites. That's how big projects get done.
