New Level(s) - Idjit Grabber & Malc

Post by malcdelsol » Sun Mar 28, 2004 1:56 pm

Hi Wonderlanders,

Sat down at the 'Level Editor' this morning (Sunday) to create an Idjit level - and I had a complete blank !!
So I've done a level for the kiddies to play on April 1st with the timer OFF
- BIG KIDS play with timer ON

The level is called 'IdjitGrabber' - real easy.

THEN..... my wife Jan says that she had an idea for an idjit level. :?: :?:

However as she has no experience of the level editor, she suggested
that I could create the level following her instructions !!
So, this is Jans' level, therefore unofficial, needs no judgement and
certainly NO further comment

I don't think it's THAT funny anyway

This level is called 'IdjitIsMalc' !!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Carolyn,

Glad you enjoyed these levels.

The best completion time I could do on IdjitGrabber was with 13 seconds
to spare - but then I do not have the quickest Stinky

Well, I know you said Jan's level needed no further comment, but I have to say that I think it's hilarious, and one of my all-time favorite Wonderland levels! That certainly is one bad case of wind that Stinky has! Good signs, good sound effects, great visual -- it gets my vote! :P :P :P :P :P :P

As for the "Grabber," yeah, I know what you mean, there is always one. I was zooming right along wondering what made this an Idjit level -- and then I sure found out! Haven't solved it yet, but if you say you did with 13 seconds to spare, then I guess it's possible. I was thinking perhaps it was not possible to solve it -- are you sure you are not playing us all for Idjits, Malc?

I love both these levels but IdjitisMalc is the most hilarious I have ever seen - I couldn't stop tittering as I was playing, my husaband thought I was having a funny turn!

I know you said this isn't an official level but I'm voting for it. Make some more like this, please

Hi Wonderlanders,

As promised, below is the solution to completing the 'Grabber' idjit level.

First though, to anyone who is reading this post to find the solution :-

     APRIL FOOL

********** SOLUTION ALERT ***********

It IS NOT possible to get the Rainbow coin which is on the ice :!:
Therefore the gates on the exit nearby will never lower :!: :!:
After collecting all of the other coins run Stinky back to the start and to the very top left corner of the level. There hidden behind the trees is another exit which has NO GATES

As you get no points for collecting Rainbow coins the way to achieve the top score on this level is to take the shortest route to collect the two time bonus clocks and immediately run back to the hidden exit :)

I said it was easy

Great Level as always. :)
I never considered a hidden exit.... but I accidentally found it as I was searching for a hidden coin. Luck of the idjits I guess.
