Hi Liz,
I was hesitant in posting this because of its peculiar nature.
It reminds me of those dilemmas Muzozavr used to create.
Hints to consider:
Every button must be covered at the start.
Two explosives: One for air and one for land.
Have you ever tap-danced with one who has no feet?

Looking at your hints, all I can say is "I suspected as much".
I can't quite figure out how to get everyone in the right position but I think I might know the main "trick" behind all this. Otherwise there would be no reason for a certain something to exist. So, if I'm thinking of the right trick...
...very sneaky misdirection. Visually elegant, also. Congratulations, this is really clever.

Funny you should say that. The "impossible dilemma" style came from imitating you and the effect your puzzles had on me. I was so impressed by your ability to design "simple" yet impossible-looking layouts that make the player go "This isn't even solvable, right?" that I tried to learn the same skill.

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Okay, I've been playing this game for quite a few years now and I don't think I've seen the particular phenomenon required to make this work, at least the way it worked for me.
So Mark did you know about that button move or did you stumble upon it as I just did playing this level and did Muzozavr use it in one of his levels that I was never able to solve?
At any rate a very neat challenge, thanks.

Welcome back!
I know you've been busy with WA and that new editor.
Sorry for misspelling your user name. I removed the "y".

I didn't know I inspired anyone except with frustration.

Here are the opening moves:
S: Step 1R + 3U + 3D.
L: Go clockwise to white button.
S: Step 1U on blue button.

Hi Bob,
Actually I have used the "button move" before.
7 years ago in "Achilles' Heel" & "Storm Warning".
http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... ght=square
I stumbled upon it accidentally while playing.

OK, I'll try the level again later, especially since I really like the idea that (probably) is behind it.

Thanks for the hints.

No, that's Mark all the way. I don't think I ever used that move and I absolutely didn't know of it until Mark used it. The first time I've seen it was in Mark's level "A******* H***" (trying to avoid spoilers here) and the second time in "S**** W******". It's a neat quirk.
EDIT: OK, since Mark has already said the same thing, I can decrypt the level names to "Achilles' Heel" and "Storm Warning".

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.

Those might be a couple of Mark's levels that I didn't solve or maybe I just forgot the move.
But to make it work does the UFO have to be firing at you at the same moment?
edit:I just went on the link Mark posted for Storm Warning and I guess I had seen the move before...I'm gettin' old.

Hi Bob,
No, the UFO is not required to fire.
See "Storm Warning" for reference.

Same here! I can't believe those levels were 7 years ago.

Hard as I tried I couldn't solve this one without reading about the "button move". Once I looked at "Storm Warning", this level became super-easy.
... And I have used this glitch before, just forgot about it.

Thanks for the help Mark
What an amazing level!
A deceptively simple layout with a mind-boggling solution.
Excellent!

Sorry, but I can't solve any of your most recent creations.
I think it's mostly because Wonderland Adventures' gameplay took me over.
Though...
to be fair, I never have been able to solve any of your levels that have this style to them.

Hi Jutomi,
Read the link to "Storm Warning" - it explains the glitch that is necessary to solve this level. Once you understand that glitch, this level would prove to be one of Mark's easiest.

Oh!
Yeap, I've done that, before, honestly.

I'm clueless as to where to begin; though, I don't think I've been trying hard enough to even get there.

I'm clueless as to where to begin;
First,
allow the UFOs to exit, then sacrifice a shadow so that the UFO can move safely around.

.
Solution for "Parallel World"
S: Step 1R + 3U + 3D.
L: Go clockwise to white button.
S: Step 1U on blue button.
After west UFO clears blue gate:
S: Step 2U + 3D + 2L.
L: Step 4D + 1L to avoid UFO.
Wait for west UFO to explode.
S: Step 2L + 1U.
When East UFO is at the top:
L: Walk counter-clockwise and stop above exit.
When UFO is on R side of Shadow, quickly step 2L.
S: Stand on white button.
When UFO is on white button, step D on green button.
When UFO is on green button, step D on aqua button.
When UFO is on aqua button, step D on blue button.
When UFO is on blue button, enter enclosure for coin.
L: Walk straight D.
Now both can exit.
