Re: New Place!
I just like to add that the E-mail notice that I previously received was the only one: no new E-mail notices arrived since, including about the previous post, although I am subscribed to this thread and although there were several other new topics and replies since.

Re: New Place!
Hm, I didn't get a notification either - now, I'm not used to this system (I never used them before), but I think I subscribed and enabled notifactions correctly. Anyone else having this issue, or are others getting their messages?

Re: New Place!
Strike that - I now did receive the notifications. So they do work for me.Midnight Synergy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 7:53 pmHm, I didn't get a notification either - now, I'm not used to this system (I never used them before), but I think I subscribed and enabled notifactions correctly. Re: New Place!
I still receive no E-mail notifications.
Also, unsubscribing from a topic doesn't work: I still get notifications through the bell-symbol from topics that I no longer wish to follow.

Re: New Place!
E-mail notifications are working for me. Hope its working for you now.

Re: New Place!
Well, I was supposed for example to receive an E-mail regarding your post, Arian, but I didn't.
Since the board changed, I only received ONE E-mail notification ever.

Re: New Place!
I received notification about your post.
Check out that:
-have you selected the Email check boxes and clicked on SUBMIT button (click the bell icon on top-right toolbar, select settings and check that the email check boxes are checked)
-make sure that you haven't created any filter that could possibly block the notification emails
EDIT: Just found that notifications are sent even if another notification(s) is already in your inbox.

Yes, the boxes are all ticked.
I have temporarily disabled all SPAM filters. Can you please reply to this, let's see if I get an E-mail...

Sorry, no E-mail has arrived.
Re: New Place!
Just received my second E-mail... about a reply in some other topic.
Re: New Place!
Speaking in terms of UI / UX, the new interface is pleasing and intuitive. I also like how old topics and posts are preserved. Haven't had any problems yet.
The people in this thread are so helpful! It's like a mini-army of QA testers. I always liked that helpful spirit on these forums.

Re: New Place!
I have following annoying issue nowadays:
When I browse the forum to read the topics and most often go to different pages of the threads, I sometimes get logged out. This happened with me two or more times yesterday with my computer and today it happened when I was reading a PM with my smartphone. I don't like to log in everytime as when I do so I am reverted to the index page.
I once thought it was occurred because of using https instead of http, but I was wrong.
I think its because I visit the forum with two devices.

Re: New Place!
I am having one more issue with the forum nowadays:
My chrome browser was updated and it revealed me a new look. But along with that, my browsing experience on the forum turned bad. Whenever I try to scroll a topic with many contents, there is slow scrolling. I have tried clearing board cookies and even reverting back to the old design but nothing worked. Anyone else having this issue?
Slow scrolling is annoying for me.

Re: New Place!
Woah. The forum does look new and improved ever since I last went online here.
I like it, you did well, Midnight Synergy.

Re: New Place!
Sorry for the bump - I made this months ago, but forgot to share it.
It's a custom theme for the Forum that makes it look a lot like what it did when it was still using phpBB2's Subsilver theme.
To apply the theme, I use Stylus, which is a browser addon/extension that's available for both Firefox and Chrome.
I've attached the code and a preview of the theme below.
Note: While this theme covers most of the Forum, pages like the User Control Panel, Profile Pages, and the page for writing posts aren't affected by the theme much, if at all, since I never completely finished creating this theme. I think I used a Chrome browser extension to help create it, but I don't have it anymore and I forget what it was called. If anyone wants to continue working on it, please feel free to.
Enjoy!
