Completed Project - Lag fix for Windows 10

Post by Midnight Synergy » Tue Apr 30, 2019 7:44 pm

Community user Aryan101 has had an early look at the code and was already able to create a new wa3.exe that no longer has lags on some Windows 10 systems. If I understand correctly, no modifications in the code were needed (which is interesting - maybe it just had to be compiled in the new Windows 10 update?).

I have not tested it myself (I never had the issue), but I will ask Aryan to post the link here for others to try out.

I've just tested it. This fixed the issue we were having since the beginning when trying to run POTZ or the WA3E editor on Linux in Wine.

This means every Wonderland game is now perfectly playable on Linux thanks to Wine. :stinkyhappy:

I'd just like to comment here that Wine for macOS can finally run the WA3E as well! Thanks MS and Aryan! :D

Anyone can download the lag fix from here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=27819

The code doesn't really need any modification, however the v1.01 and v3.01 are the modified versions of the original code.
Download the source from here: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=27826
