No No No spankings! It WAS special. My parents wrapped this HUGE box and inside was 50 presents ~ ALL wrapped with bows and ribbons. They gave it to me a week early so that I could have a few every day up to my birthday. It was SO cool!! My husband got me the Kitchen Aid that I have been wanting! He had a trip planned but it got canceled so he plans to extend the time on our 25th anniversary next month! Thanks for asking Shorty and the best wishes SharonM! Susan

Well, as of now ~ subject to changes of course ~ we are going to Corpus Christi. We want to see the Texas State Acquarium, spend a day at the beach, do some shopping, etc, so on and so forth. Yeah 25 years is awesome. I have been blessed with someone who really is my other half! Well..let's see....since it will be an anniversary trip....no, you'll have to come with us another time

WOW!

That sounds like a great idea. I wish I had thought of that for my mother's 50th. Way too late now, of course, but I'll try to remember that for her 75th. Of course, Rob's and my 50th is coming up in three years............so I'll keep that in mind for him.

I hope you have a beautiful silver anniversary. Your travel plans sound like a lot of fun.

That is so wonderful that you have really found your other half, Some of us can only dream of finding that one person to share our lives with and you have found your Mr.Right, Same goes to you Sharon almost 25 years ... That's a long time, My parents have also been together almost that long but they are splitting up

Shortness, the weather was muggy and very hot , we had sever rain and thundering and some lightning later today. It has moved out for now and will return tomorrow, because of Hurricane Dennis.

We are to have rain Sunday thru Thursday!

It usually is just before you get heavy weather from a storm system, isn't it? I know it is here. Hopefully, Dennis will give you a miss. I hope it weakens instead of strenghtening like they're predicting.

Thanks Sharon, the muggy weather is the way it is usually here. But today was worse than most days. Yes it sure is, Dennis will miss us but we will get some heavy rain from Dennis. For now Dennis will be headed for Ala and then on up toward Tenn. Yes I hope it weakens too instead of gaining strength. Take Care sharon, I hope I don't have to stay away to much next week because of the rain and thunderstorms.

If I do then you all will know why. Take care
