Home From the hospital

Hi All,

I am so sorry that I had you all worried. I ended up taking Ali to the ER on Tuesday Afternoon and they ended up addmitting him into the Childrens hospital of Hamilton. He was Red line Dehydrated and has a nasty stomach virus of which we still do not know what it is. He was in ICU for the whole week. And they finally let us go home today

I have to keep a close eye on him and make sure he DRINKS lots and he is on a pedalite diet for the next week. He went from Sleeping all the time to not sleeping at all

He is still having trouble keeping anything in but the doctor felt comfortable enough with his progress to let him go home.

But at least we are home. So lets keep our fingers cross that he does well and we dont end up back there.

I will check in with you as much as I can. But I dont think I will have the chance to come on as much as usual. I need to catch up on my sleep I think I have averaged about 10 hours of sleep in 6 days.

Soluvable! I am so glad to hear from you.And even happier that Ali is better,
I hope he continues to do better so that you don't wind back up in the hospital.

You and Baby Ali are in our prayers, get some sleep whenever you get the chance. Take care of yourself and the baby.

I remember what it was like when mine were babies- I will pray for a swift recovery for Ali and much needed sleep for u!
Take care of yourself too, that's important to take care of Ali!

Oh Kerrie, I'm so sorry that you and baby Ali having been having such a rough time!

The fact that you were allowed to return home is good news and I'll continue to pray for you and Ali. Dylan is right, you need to take care of yourself as well, so make sure you do. We're all pulling for you both.

Kerrie I'm so glad to know you're ok... I'm so so sorry about baby Ali, I hope he feels better soon!!!! I wish I could have been there for you

I'm praying for both of you and I am with the others you need to take care of yourself as well.. Ali needs a strong and healthy mommy

Thank-you so much for all your kind words thoughts and prayers. It means so much to me to know that you are all here for me and Ali.

Things seem to be looking up so far so good.. Ali slept the whole night through

I guess the comfort of his own bed deffently helped. He is really enjoying being back at home. No more IV, Nurses and Doctors and uncomfortable hospital bed I would be happy to.

Awww, just getting caught up reading through the forum, I'm so sorry your baby was so sick, but glad to see that you both are home, and he is doing better.

Hope he gets back to new, and you both get some sleep.

I have had 8 hours sleep and I feel like a Million Bucks

Ali is napping at the moment and I am glad he is finally getting some sleep but I am so lost and bord I dont know what to do with myself.

I shoud probably do so some house cleaning and catch up on laundry but ummmmm lets think about this. umm huh oh

maybe tomorrow.

I just wanted you all to know that you have lifted my spirts 100% it so nice to come on here and know that people care.

Hi Kerrie,

Glad to hear wee Ali is on the mend, never mind the housework dear. Sit down and relax with Wonderland for a while, you'll know when it's time to get cleaned up. Just be happy all is well and you have lots of people rooting for Ali.

After all you've been through, NOTHING is a very good thing to do...I'm sure hubby will understand if the house is a wreck & clothes are dirty for another day or two, & if he doesn't send him my direction I'll straighten him out

Just a quick up date for you all.

Ali is doing much much better he is back to driving mommy crazy and he is full of endless energy

So I think we are on the road to totally recovery.
