Okay, let me get this straight. (I've just been pronouncing it like "met". That's really the American pronunciation for that spelling) So, in addition to "met" I need to add a "the" sound without the h. Hmmm. So is it like "met-uh"? I've been pronouncing it wrong the whole time and I can't rest until it's right!

Well, I've had the entire thing wrong ... I thought it was "meet-a"  Like I've got to go meet a friend. Now I have to change it to I've met a new friend... I think :? :?
Well, Mette one things for sure, no matter how bad I slaughter your name,
I like it, it's unusual (for an american) kind of exotic... :D

Thirteen is a great number - it makes up a Coven!
It's my lucky number, and I've had lots of lucky things happen to me on Friday 13ths.

BTW Maureen - I don't have your address and phone number. Just emailed you my flight details etc.

No Mo,

I didn't live there, just spent some holidays in Scotland.

I would describe myself as middle aged, but this depends from where you're looking

I'm trying to get some things done before bed Lilo, feeling a bit under pressure now.

Flight details sweetheart please, I want everything verified to put on my clipboard. Knicker size not required, I know you wear the long pink drawers from yesteryear. :P

Must get some shuteye now, it's been a long day and I only had a couple of hours last night. Mr. Snorey was in fine fettle and my brother was trying to compete in the next room.

Very well put Lutz :D :D :D I think that's the closest I'll ever get to explaining it. If you want to call Bjarne Giz it's with a hard G as in Gizmo

It's ridicolously late (4.22 AM  )and I need to sleep now. See you when I wake up :D :D :D

Don't worry about the slaugthering part :D You can call me Met if you want to

In Denmark "Mette" is an extremely common name, I'm not used to my name being thought of as exotic - it's a nice change though    "Bjarne" is a fairly common name too

Well, Mette here's another suprise for you  not ONLY do I think your name is exotic, I think of Denmark as a far off far away land .... ya kinda like a fairy tale
So to sum it up, your an exotic woman, living in a enchanted land ..  I'll bet you've never though of yourself like that   :D :D

OBTW: I won't even attempt to pronounce your hubby's name  :D

Laura you are sooooooo funny
We're laughing

We just came up with a new way of explaining how to say "Bjarne":
B-yarn-uh (yarn as the stuff you use to knit sweaters with).

Mette & Bjarne
(writing from the enchanted land of fairy tales     )
