Disappearing PMs

I have had a couple of emails announcing that I have a new pm waiting for me but when I check my in box nothing is there. Does anyone know what could be happening (and if you have written to me wanting an answer and I haven't please forgive me it may well be lost in cyber space). Help

Hi SuperT,

If you read your PMs before you read your mail the notification e-mails still arrive, but you will already have read the PMs when you see the mail. Is that it?

No Mette, I knew that if I had read them then that would happen, but this is notification and no new messages.

Same thing has happened to me too. Do you remember, Sorinda, when I sent you this email ?

and I commented to my husband that I must be getting very popular because I had about 6 pms, but when I checked the WL inbox, there was only one - yours ! ! ! ! !

Don't think it has happened since, but will keep an eye in case it happens again.

Isn't that a weird saying ? ? I always see some one taking their eye out of their head and waving it about, so they can see around the corner

Something strange just happened to me. I don't get emails about PMs, I get pop ups instead. Just now when I logged on I got a pop up saying I had one new message. When I went to my inbox there weren't any new messages.

Halloween is just around the corner so nothing surprises me.

Oh THAT explains everything

In a way it is nice to know I'm not being singled out for the strange phenomena, but I would like to get to the bottom of it. PATRICK???

I had got a pm but it said I had no messages. Some really strange things going on here. Popo I agree sure must have something to do with Halloween.

It happened to me twice.

I thought that someone has sent me a PM and deleted it out of his/her Outbox before I read it.

Is anyone actually missing any PMs, though? Or is it just weird notification e=mails?

I don't seem to be missing any (at least no one has said anything). None have disappeared from my inbox or anything (at least that I know of). Popo said she got a misleading popup (I don't have popup notifications) so its not just emails. Being a great help here aren't I?

I am getting my pm's, I don't have the e-mail notifications turned on. I just went to check my pm as I was excepting one.

And it said, You have no new messages.

But I did, and it hasn't happened again.

I just got an email notification that a PM had arrived at 5:56p tonight. I went to get it and nothing was there. Something is definitely happening to the PMs.

Whoever sent the PM, I didn't get it, try again!
