Mother's Day

"Dear Lord," the preacher began with arms extended and a rapturous look on his upturned face, "without you we are but dust..."

He would have continued, but at that moment one very obedient little girl (who was listening carefully) leaned over to her mother and asked quite audibly in her shrill little girl voice, "Mommy, WHAT is butt dust?"

Church was pretty much over at that point...

That's always a good one to remember that children will say anything and everything! I hope all the moms and even the dads have a great mother's day!

today is also our anniversary, married 3 years. my husband left me gift certificates to best buy and bed, bath and beyond taped to the kitchen cupboards and to my pc monitor, he's so sweet, Tuesday we leave for a week for a bike (on the hog) trip to Myrtle Beach.

I'll be having wonderland withdrawals by the time we get back........aaaack
