Deluxe Edition Available
July 1st, 2004
Well, if you've been following this discussion group for a while, you'll know what this post is all about. The Return To Wonderland Deluxe Edition is now available.
The Return To Wonderland Deluxe Edition is a stand-alone sequel to the original Wonderland, and replaces the "classic edition" Return To Wonderland that was for sale on our site until recently. The "Deluxe Edition" is really two new Wonderland games in one package, namely the classic Return To Wonderland (which introduced new levels, gameplay elements, a level editor, and more) as well as the Deluxe Edition upgrade (which features even more levels, new characters, lots of new features, new custom options, and more).
Here's a very small look at all the features of Return To Wonderland Deluxe:
* 20 Tutorial Levels, 85 Classic Levels, 51 Deluxe Levels (with a brand new storyline), and hundreds and hundreds of user-made custom levels, sorted by user. You just might never need another game!
* A total of four characters, Stinky and Loof, as well as two newcomers, Qookie and Peegue!
* Tons of new gameplay elements. The classic Return To Wonderland levels include Reflectors, Spikes, Switchers, Ghost, Flying Saucers and much more. The deluxe levels further add explosive Powder Kegs, Prisms, Box Generators, Rainbow Spirits, Torches, and much, much more.
* A full-featured level editor. With the deluxe edition this includes lots of new options to customize your levels, including houses, lots of ornamental structures, different wall-sizes, different floor types, and of course all of the puzzle elements to make your own great levels. Advanced users can even paint their own Wonderland houses, or include their own home-made 3D models for completely original level creations. As before, new levels can be download, uploaded, shared, discussed, etc. right here in this forum.
There's a whole lot more in the Return To Wonderland Deluxe Edition - even some super-secret features that you can discover how to unlock over time. We hope that all this will ensure that those of you who loved the original Wonderland will have a great game to play for many months and years to come.
The Deluxe Version is now available at our site www.midnightsynergy.com (if you visit often, remember to press the Refresh/Reload button on your browser to get the most current site).
Return To Wonderland Deluxe Edition retails for $34.95 (as before, you can order two or more games and receive a 20% discount on each game).
If you already bought the "classic" Return To Wonderland Edition prior to today, you will receive an upgrade e-mail shortly (allow 24-48 hours) to allow you to upgrade from your classic to the deluxe edition for just $14.95. (please note that this only applies to registered users of the classic "Return To Wonderland" game, not the original "Wonderland").
Have fun! We're looking forward to reading your comments and feedback.
Best wishes,
Your Friends at Midnight Synergy

I just ran out in the rain to get my credit card, but alas I have not got my e-mail yet. I hope I get it soon. Don't know if I can wait 24-48 hours
I was hoping to be the first to buy it and try it. Noe I might have to wait a few days as we are very involved in the 4th of July plus it is my husband B-day to and my daughters on the 4th. Can't wait to hear how it is.

What happens if someone who registered RTW with example@example.com for example, and have no longer got access to this email account?

Good on you girls
I'd already decided to fork out the extra $20 as well. It's not that often that I buy games & this one's definitely worth supporting!
Thanks in advance Pat

E-mails will go out tonight with order information for the upgrade. I just put down 24-48 hour just in case someone's e-mail is slow or gets stuck somewhere.
Also remember to check Spam filters (if you use them) so you don't miss our message.
If you own the original RTW and don't get an e-mail within that time period, or you changed your e-mail since then, just e-mail us your order info (Name, e-mail used then) and we'll set you up.

Gen, just thought I'd comment that the upgrade e-mail goes to the e-mail that you placed your RTW order with, not the one you registered on the discussion board [unless, of course, it's the same]Gen wrote:Bigzip, you can go to your profile and change your e-mail address. I did this recently. Hope it works!

I can't make my mind up whether to buy the upgrade or the full version.
I don't want my custom levels folders to be cocked up by custom files included with the game as mine aren't sorted by user, and I changed some of the level names because of duplication; but, on the other hand, I don't want to have to go through all the standard levels again if I get the full version.
Has anyone bought the upgrade and had a chance to see if it's made any difference to your custom levels folders? Does the upgrade even include the custom levels?
Can anyone help me, or is everyone too engrossed in the new game to read the forum?

I love this new game. I played all the tutorial levels and got the "golden check mark" on all of them. I like how the custom levels are sorted by user. Thought it was pretty cool to see my name included in a game that other people of the world can download and see. The only complaint I have, and it is a little on,
, I was a little frustrated that all my scores on my custom level games have been wiped. I have to beat them all again!!! GRRR..... Oh well, I won't have time for that. I have all of these new levels to play. This is going to take some time. Has anyone else lost their scores on the custom levels and was that supposed to happen? Thanks for all the fun Midnight Synergy!!!!

Remember (as mentioned above) that you can copy your player file from the old version to the new version. That way all the levels you've completed will still remain checked (except they won't be flagged "perfect" - since that's a new feature).Danell1975 wrote: I was a little frustrated that all my scores on my custom level games have been wiped.
