But Patrick deserves our money for all the awesome stuff he's making, guys.
You're absolutely right. On the other hand, people who made nice logos deserve some reward too... <sarcasm> Maybe not a free copy, but maybe some kind of a discount? </sarcasm>
I actually like the sarcastic idea.
PARDON?
Seriously guys, we should probably start writing in normal size.
You're eyes must be going bad. We are talking in normal size.
Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

No, they don't. I'm not saying the logos are bad, but half an hour of editing an image doesn't even warrant a discount on a game that's been in development for so long.
You know what? Patrick offered to put a bunch of the logos into a issue of The Midnight Post, and I think that's a nice reward on its own. We shouldn't pester him for discounts or free copies when he's already been so generous.

Re: discounts etc for non-winners... I'm sure there'll be other opportunities. For the logo I decided to only award one free game (and credits), but I'll consider other options as well (e.g. if I use the logos for other purposes, if I use other crowd sourcing items like planets and items, betatesting, etc)... I'm sure I'll end up giving out at least a dozen free copies by the time this is done. Having said that, please don't submit crowd sourced items if it is done with the expectation of getting something out of it. The primary reason for it should be the fun of doing it!
StinkerSquad, with Entry #16! Congratulations!
This was my immediate "first instinct" choice, and after having placed various logos in the game and considered your choices as well, I'm happy to report that we now have an official WA3 logo!!!
Congratulations to StinkerSquad! We'll be in touch about the free game and credits a little later.
Now, two special mentions go to...
1. JanetGalle for doing a wonderful variety of logos, and really doing the Rainbow theme justice!
and
2. Technos72 for handdrawing the entire entry... I definitely gave #10 a unique look and made it clearly stand out from the other entries.
But also many thanks to everyone who submitted logos. I will definitely feature a selection in the Midnight Post, and will see if I can figure out some other (surprise?) uses for them.
EDIT: A dozen copies? Here's hoping that I'm a winner!
