Well, there are still 14 hours left

No Weekly Challenge means I'll be working on my hub. It was planned long ago, but PotZ storyline was quite similar to what I invented (yes, it's a painful feeling when you play a game and you see 'What? That was MY idea for MY hub!' and you realise you must change half of your plot). With custom models I'll be able to make absolutely new worlds with strange plants, mushrooms, ruins... I won't say 'Prepare for a blast!', as my plans are huge and I don't want to let anyone down if I fail to make the hub.

I still wonder if I should start a hub progress topic. The works will proceed really slowly, as I don't have that much spare time, so screenshots would appear once a month I think (is that enough to keep people reading the topic? :?). Also, I'm planning to continue my Faithful texture pack so everyone could play my hub with seamlessly blending tiles.

I never really understood why seamless textures don't look seamless in-game... are the tiles in-game different sizes or something?

Yeah, they are - The textures outside of the game are 64 by 64 pixels, while an in-game "tile" is slightly larger than that.

The in-game tiles also overlap a bit, so they don't link together as well as the textures do in an external program.

Well, I gave the whole thing few more hours than I was planning to, but it didn't change the fact Weekly Challenge Project is CANCELLED due to lack of interest.

Special thanks to Jutomi and global102 who send me their entries, which now they can publish in Custom Adventures and Hubs section.

I think this topic can be closed.
