362LIZM - Pirate Quest 6 Meeting the Swordmaster

Loof has his first encounter with the mysterious Swordmaster.

Using a new house model which I've made, and a set of other models which will be used with a few other levels.
This level uses JanetGalle's wonderful sword - thanks Janet.

NOTICE: The model file has now been fixed. If you are not seeing the sword model, then perhaps you haven't unzipped the file properly. PM me if you still need help.

DOUBLE DOG NOTICE: I messed up with a redundant box at the end of this level. Here is a version with that problem fixed.

I say ole chum, this was a right nice level to be sure. :D

The battle was fought Image and the gold won!!!

Thanks for the laughs, really enjoyed working my way thru this one.

Note: I'll have to check out your models on a different computer though :(

Edit: Your swordhouse looks great!!!! and a very nice touch with your models :P :P

I know for a fact that that Swordmaster has very little patience for kids, especially insolent ones who think they know it all!

Great fun again Lizzie, thanks!

Very fun and fast! Was able to collect all the booty; heaven knows I'll need all I can get! That Swordmaster is a sly one!

Ace goobie/travelator puzzle Mizz Lizzie! 8) Fast and furious through the middle part - I just made it through by the hair on my chinny chin chin! Image

The signs are so funny - unfortunately I am not seeing the model though! :(

Nonetheless - it looked fab with your new houses and Kazzie is a fine swordsmith! Image

Many thanks - onwards me hearty! :P

No models for me either :?

Loved the goobie puzzle and was too slow for the blue sphere first time.
But finally Loof-Lad met the Wordsmith and proceeded to further adventures.

Thanks :D

Got through but left some of the loot....gotta go back and unbury that stuff. I may need a treasure map! I could see the model and house and it all looked GREAT! I so love this series and all the work you are putting into it.

You are soooo appreciated Miss Lizzie!

xoxoxox

Edit: Ok I went back to get my loot (very clever) and suddenly realized there were two exits. Was I supposed to use that box at the end for something?

Another great episode in the saga! Loved the models and houses and funny signs too! Had the most trouble with the sticky cubes but after that made it through pretty quick!

Oh Robyn - you're always finding alternative ways around my levels.   If you complete the level and get the gold, then that's fine.

The problem with handling dialogue in Wonderland is that it doesn't flow easily. I try to set up ways so that Loof says one thing, Qookie says another. This helps the story line to evolve. Loof is supposed to exit at the top and Qookie at the bottom. I see now the box wasn't necessary at all. Will try harder next time!

I also notice that lots of people are having trouble with the models. I'll PM JanetGalle to see if she can resize the sword thing, and I'll rejig my screens which haven't been used yet.

Just a note on the models. Jg's sword doesn't need anything doing to it as it has no texture file and everyone should be able to see it. The screens do need resizing for everyone to see them, but they weren't used in this level so that's why you couldn't see them. Why do I know that? Because I had a sneaky look in the editor when I couldn't see them even after I'd resized them. The sword model is in the top right corner behind the exit.

Getting back to the level, I had a terrible time wondering why I couldn't get past the pink gate at the end. I also wondered what the boulder was for at the beginning. Took me over half an hour to put 2 and 2 together. DUH!

Bring on the next one. 8) 8)

Tyteen4a03 - will you please stop listing Forum members on this thread!

I have no intention of including 3616 users in this story. It's my choice whom I include.

EDIT: Thanks for removing that list of names!

On another matter - perhaps some of you think you haven't seen the sword model because it's not so obvious. This is what you should be seeing.

I've seen the swords. But when I checked the model folder after unzipping there has been other stuff like t-shirts and a shovel. Haven't seen those
Suppose it's only for use in upcoming episodes :D

I just have metal pillars where the swords should be :(

Still looked fab though! :D

EDIT: Just re-downloaded the model zip and it worked!!! Must have been my fault - maybe I forgot to download the model file first time around!

FAB swords Janet! :D

I usually can't do Lizzie levels but this one was not so hard.
The goobies confused me the most though.

And for what do you need the box at the end? :?

Another fun level in the series. Took a few times to get through it; left without the two bonus coins and jsut had to go back and re-think that part...tricky! Model looked great. Can't wait for numero 7! Thank Lizzie!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. :D :D

For those of you who were disappointed with the green button/redundant box problem (and this included me), I've revised that part of the level.

You now have to use the box on the green button and Loof has to exit at the top right.

Played the revision and enjoyed it as much as the first go 'round. Thanks Liz!!
