How I explain this assumes that you know how to create a dialog, and how to make it so that one dialog can only be visited once (AskAbouts or duplicate interchanges).

In the editor, you make a key with, for example, ID 1, and Active set to "No." In the dialog editor, you will need to use CMD 1 (getting more advanced here  ), with Data1 set to 1, because the key's ID is 1. Now when you play the level and talk to the stinker, you will find that the key appears next to him/her. :)

I'm not sure if you can make keys active a second time though. I think you pick them up, and that's it.
Oh, and the coins. You can't make them unactive, but you can pick them up and reactivate them (an infinite number of coins  ).

You can make keys reappear more then once! Instead of making the CMD 1, make it 3. 3 means "Toggle Object." I've tried it before.

No, jdl, I didn't mean that. I meant that after collecting the key, I'm not sure that it can be reactivated again.

After you collected it, (using CMD 3 to activate it) use another dialog with CMD 3 and it should reappear in the same place it was before.
