Just (another) thought Pat,

Are bookmarks possible within the forum at all?

I've noticed that on occassions topics can get quite large and do not necessarily deal with original thought - not that I'm complaining at all. Having bookmarks would allow the author to create an index of (relatively) useful postings within a topic to save people wading through (otherwise interesting) reams of posts for the xth time.

One example that comes to mind was my Suggestion Box topic with currently 39 posts. I could index all suggestions made with links to the relavent posts. And way over on the Custom Content forum where 2 of my topics have 32 postings each... it would be particularly handy so postings don't get lost in the sea of... well... posts.

Anyway, I don't know if it's possible at all but if so it may be useful...

Just popped into the FAQ & headed off to PHPBB HQ to look the matter up...   ... nearly 1.25 million posts...

and some of those topics have hundreds of pages of postings...

Without spending the next 20 years looking it up, do you know off hand if it's possible?

Robbie :D
