A fractal-like image I did in a few minutes with SUMOPaint and the "Wave Lab" filter and then inserted it into the game... comes complete with a test level for you to enjoy.

If you're using http://www.sumopaint.com you put anything with enough "stuff" on the image, and then you go to Filter -> Distort -> Wave Lab and it will do things like that.
