New Level (custom) - Minecraft 5

523LIZM - Minecraft 5

Hi All

We've built our railway into desert terrain.
Jeepers Creepers, spiky cacti, nasty green things all round in fact.
Take care and have fun!

Using my new Lizdesert texture not used before, and the creeper model used in the rest of the series.

I thought I had this all worked out but I can't see a way into and out of the coin room below the red button.

Back to the drawing board...

EDIT: Yep, had to re-think my set-up for the first part and this time it worked. Even the green spheres fell into place without too much trouble (maybe the therapy is helping).

Very challenging level, Liz. I love it. Will someone please tell me what to use to kill the box by the bonus coin in the bottom right room?

[Edit] Wait! Don't tell me yet. I think I have it figured out. Happens every time I ask for help. Go figure.

[Edit 2] Got it! Thanks so much for this really fun level, Liz! BTW - I pushed one boulder out of the way and smashed 1 green sphere to get it out of the way - was that the way you intended? <-- way too many "ways"

Actually I can't see how you could do that Anne. There are no boulders by the green spheres and no green spheres by the boulders. Me confused!

But the other very strange thing was that in an earlier version I put a boulder in with the green spheres to cover the cyan button, then changed my mind. I thought that by some horrible glitch that boulder had got into my posted version. Phew!

Wow, I didn't see that way!

I also smashed 1 green sphere against the spikes, but I did not move the other boulder out of the way.

Now I played it both ways and I find your way, Anne, easier.

Sorry for the confusion, Liz. Here's how I did the boulders at the bottom right.

I pushed the left boulder right then right again to get it out of the way.

I smashed a green sphere against the spikes just like Amnon did.

You might have to wait a while for that - I'm having trouble getting the Minecraft 3 Walkthrough to load on YouTube.

Clearly you and Amnon have found a more elegant solution and I'm taking the long way round as usual.

Hopefully I'll get it posted soon.

Hmmm, I put both boulders in the waterhole at the bottom, two green spheres in the waterhole at the tunnel and left one green one on the green button.

Is that anywhere near correct Liz?

Well that was fun!!! I used every piece of equipment so I think I did it the way you intended, but it took me quite a while to figure out what went where. Thanks for another great level in a great series.

Bob - your solution is closest to the way I solve it.

With so much equipment lying around it isn't surprising that there are many ways to do it.

I'll try to get the video solution posted asap.

Thanks for playing LCD. I always find your levels really difficult.

I never know how my levels are going to turn out - sometimes hard, sometimes easy, and different for different people.
