MOFI volcano - can I go back later on?

Just managed to pass enough adventures in the Jungle Temple and got through "The Chase"... but now I'm in the volcano without a way to meet the floing guy or go back to replay the optional adventures in the Kaboom! village... will I get the ability to go back later on, after I beat the volcano?

You will always be able to go back and replay old adventures, UNTIL you complete the last adventure in the game. (no spoilers!)
